Our stay was unfortunately disappointing due to several issues with both the room condition and the service we experienced.
When we arrived, the room had not been properly cleaned. There were items left in the drawers from a previous guest, writing on the side of the wall, and even a visible noodle stain on one of the framed pictures. The lotion was also missing. We had to request housekeeping to return and properly clean the room.
When we called the front desk, the staff member who assisted us had a noticeably unpleasant attitude. In most hotels, when following up on housekeeping, guests can ask for an estimated time of arrival so they can plan their day. In this case, we were questioned about why we needed a time estimate, as if we had to justify the request. We were told someone would come around 12:30 p.m., but no one arrived at that time. It wasn’t until around 2:45 p.m., when we crossed paths with housekeeping staff ourselves, that the room was finally addressed.
During check-in, My husband was being assisted at one desk while I was managing our two children — one of whom is on the autism spectrum. As I was trying to guide my son while carrying our toddler and our belongings, she loudly called me out in front of other guests. It was clear I was simply trying to attend to my child, yet she made a face and addressed me in a way that felt unnecessary and embarrassing.
