Better than 5 stars
I wish I could give this property more than 5 stars. It was perfection. My husband and I had our wedding at Old Glory Ranch and our honeymoon at this cabin. We did not want to leave. It was incredibly clean and perfectly cozy. It had every amenity you could want. It was so incredibly quiet, safe, and beautiful inside and outside. Suzanne was spectacular and helped with our every need. If you are looking for the perfect quiet getaway in a cozy historic cabin with proximity to town and beautiful views, this cabin is for you.

Staycation getaway
I live in Austin and wanted an easy getaway with access to a river to enjoy our hot days here in August. The cabin fully delivered with private river access and lots of charm and seclusion. It was a beautiful getaway but very close to town. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of my stay.

Serene and Relaxing
This home is beautiful and very comfortable! All basics are provided. Great horseshoe set off to the side of the home as well as a nice picnic area to oversee the valley below. The drive up to the cabin is a challenge - you must have an SUV or truck to drive up to the top where the cabin is located. We loved driving down to the river access - it was our own private paradise of fishing and floating in the river.

Great Home in Secluded Area
This was a wonderfully appointed cabin, with everything we needed! Beds and living room furnishings were very comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped. Very secluded and private. Upon arrival on the property, the owner greeted me and gave me an overview. As stated in the listing, one is required to drive through the river (water was low) and up a quite challenging road, but the cabin made the journey worth it!

We loved this little cabin!
We loved our stay at this little cabin in the woods! It was quite an adventure just driving from the gate to the cabin and was complete with deer sightings and crossing the little Branco river. The cabin has been beautifully decorated down to the last detail. We hope to visit again some time!

Complete Irresponsibilty
I will never deal with The premier Lodging A day before my reservation called the Premier Lodging to inquire about the entry code, I was informed that the codes will be sent 24 hours before the check-in date. The check-in arrived but no sign of the entry code. When I called them in the morning of the check-in date, I was informed that the property owner will email me the codes in a few minutes. That did not happened. The Premier Lodging called and told me that the property owner as attending a wedding and would send the code after the wedding which was far from the Glory ranch. I told the the representative of the the Premier Lodging, if I do not get the entry code, I would request a full refund. As soon as the conversation ended, I received that my reservation was cancelled. What a customer service.

Thank you, Hadi, for allowing us the opportunity to explain the circumstances in which this particular reservation was terminated. Log Cabin at Old Glory Ranch holds a piece of Texas Hill Country history and requires additional release forms. The property provides a rustic and luxurious experience that is as fragile as it is beautiful. When we did not receive the signed documents, we offered to have them resent for convenience. That offer was met with a level of hostility, frustration, and a lack of cooperation that rendered collective parties uncomfortable with the reservation. We refunded the guest immediately as it had been the request and our policy when we terminate a reservation. Thank you for the opportunity to remind future guests that this property requires additional forms. Hill Country Premier Lodging

Perfect Get-away
What a fabulous property! The cabin is amazing. So charming and the decor really sets the mood. We enjoyed hiking and sitting by the fire pit and when the temperatures fell we had a lovely fire in the fireplace. The views and the stars at night were amazing. We are already wanting to go back!

A step back in time…
Words cannot describe the cabin here. It’s like stepping back in time, but with modern conveniences. Attention to detail is great. Clean. Unwind & unplug…that’s what you do here. But also close enough to venture out to Wimberley shops if needed. Pictures don’t do this place justice either.

Perfect Getaway
We couldn’t of found a better spot for our much needed getaway! From the minute we passed through the gates of Old Glory, the adventure begins-winding dirt roads, burros and deer running free in the fields, stately oak and cedar trees and then crossing the waters in our F250 to get to the log cabin-peaceful and secluded. The cabin-a step back in time with all the modern amenities. Comfortably fit our group of four. We enjoyed the fire pit every evening and were entertained by the coyotes howling in the distance. The evening sunset from the upper deck was amazing! We enjoyed the local restaurants and shopping. Susan (the owner) was always available and very pleasant to work with. This was the perfect getaway! We’ll definitely be coming back!

On Top of Heaven!
That's how we felt staying at the cabin! Beautiful, breathtaking, wildlife, secluded, cozy and just flat awesome! One of the best we have ever stayed in. You definitely need a truck or full size SUV to cross the river!

Amazing Home and Property
This home is amazing. It’s absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway with your spouse or for a couples weekend. The views from the home are worth the price of admission alone. You will not be disappointed. Complete privacy, and the little spot for renters in the Blanco River is peaceful. But bring water shoes because there are rocks galore in the river.

Absolutely beautiful cabin and location. Everything you could want for a true hill country stay. Management was always available but never seen. High clearance vehicle a must but you won’t be disappointed. The wedding wasn’t bad either. Surrounded by the sounds of nature and the occasional donkey song.

Absolutely perfect!
If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is the place. Beautifully furnished log cabin in a super remote setting. Beautiful hill country views, plenty of wildlife, river access, short drive in to Wimberly. We will definitely visit again.

If you're considering staying at this property, do yourself a favor and stop considering, just book it. The land is amazing, the house is amazing, the views are amazing, Suzanne (property owner) is amazing. Wonderful cabin!
My husband and I, and two friends stayed at the cabin for a weekend. It was the perfect place to celebrate my 50th birthday while staying remote during COVID. You can tell a lot of care when into the building and decorating of the cabin. It's definitely the best rental we've had through these types of services. Thank you Suzanne!
