Timberframe Cabin in the Alaskan Backcountry

  • The timber frame cabin is a rustic Alaskan cabin tucked away on our 30 acre homestead. We have a fully equipped kitchen for all your culinary needs and a full bath with all necessary toiletries. A lot of the furniture in the cabin was handmade right here on the homestead with trees we milled ourselves. This cabin has a private fire pit and free parking space for your convenience. We welcome you to share our homestead, and allow guests to enjoy our gardens, eat some strawberries and even help themselves to some eggs from our coop. During winter we have miles of well groomed ski trails for guests to use. Aside from the cabin, we also offer dog sledding and snow mobile tours. We offer the amazing rates for 24 hour UTV/ATV rentals, just for guests at our cabins.
    Our backyard opens into raw and untamed backcountry with beautiful views of Denali and the Talkeetna range. What makes this extra special is that you will have the peace and tranquility of the Alaskan backcountry without the hustle and bustle of other people or tourists.

Great cabin! We stayed for 5 nights while touring. It is a beautiful cabin and has everything you need. Would highly recommend.

We had a chance to relax and enjoy the feel of the cabin. We wished we had brought our dinner with us because once we were settled in we did not want to leave again

This Timber-Frame Cabin was ABSOLUTELY Stunning. The cabin host Tasha was extremely helpful and the driving directions provided are very precise.Once you walk into the cabin the decor of the cabin was stunning, they decorated this cabin as a cabin should look. Even though we did not use anything in the kitchen, it seemed to have everything you may need.The living room was clean and comfortable, the bedroom upstairs was comfortable and all the wood created furniture appeared to be handmade locally with quality craftsmanship.The cabin has a beautiful unique bathroom that had everything you would need to be comfortable while you stay in the cabin.The cabin has a sitting area out back with a fire pit along with outdoor axe tossing game.If I could give more than a 5-Star review, this cabin deserves a higher rating.Any traveler visiting near Talkeetna, AK-this property will not disappoint.Respectfully,Bruce W. What an amazing property! Although checking in during the Montana Creek wildfires, we were assured we were safe. We enjoyed watching the fire fighters ;). My only regret was not spending more time at this stop! It was like living in a storybook. Maybe add outside chairs on the porches?
