«Lovely, well maintained hotel, pool and gardens . The staff committed , knowledgeable and friendly. Dinners in the History restaurant were without exception delicious, especially the First Class Railway Mutton Curry which was outstanding. These were preceded by a visit to the bar, over which knowledgeable barmen preside. All in all, a wonderful stay and the next door ferry was never a problem for us, indeed we think we will miss the throbbing motor which we found quite comforting. »

«We had a lovely stay. The staff were very helpful especially as we arrived so late. They arranged transport from the airport and recommended places to eat as the hotel has no restaurent. The swimming pool on the roof was lovely and open early. The hotel was very clean, Sets of two rooms shared a communal area with a fridge. The hotel was conviently located on the edge of the historic part of town.»

«I spent my last night in India at the Malabar House in Fort Kochi and it was quite the treat. I was upgraded to the Garden suite and the room was stunning from the fixtures to the artwork. The staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient. The food was fantastic! The hotel is ideally located just a block or two inland from the harbor and the fishing nets. Gorgeous property. »

«I spent only two nights at Fort House and wished I could have stayed longer! It is located on the edge of Fort Kochi's central area, it is an oasis but still within walking distance--and there is no shortage of tuk-tuks. They are working on the road, but don't let that dissuade you--the inner courtyard garden is beautiful and the outdoor dining areas are lovely.
