«If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, nature filled get away, this is a perfect choice. The front porch provides a beautiful view of the river side of Lake Rathbun. The sky is full of birds, pelicans, and breathtaking sunrises and sunsets...along with hummingbirds that fly right up on the porch with you. It's a simple charming atmosphere, peaceful, relaxing and just minutes away from the boat ramp. A hidden gem, highly recommend.»

«We were pleased with this home. They covered all the little things that sometimes are lacking in vacation rentals. The beds and pillows were comfortable, plenty of towels in the bathrooms and kitchen, nice kleenex and toilet paper, garbage cans in all bedrooms, free snacks, ice, and koozies, and night stands by each bed. The owner was more than welcoming and made sure we were comfortable. We would stay here again and highly recommend Randy's Rental.»

«The cabin was spotless and very well stocked with everything promised on the website. The location offers spectacular views of a pond and a nice trail for walking. The cabin was nice and warm for our February stay and it was peacefully quiet and so relaxing. The only thing that was sightly disappointing is how fast the hot water runs out. Plan on less than a ten minute shower or turn it off and on during the whole shower process. We will definitely be staying again.»

«We stayed at foxtail cabins for an extended weekend to celebrate a birthday. On short notice i saw there was a bigger cabin available and they upgraded me no problem. Everything was clean and there were all the modern amenities such as a fully functioning kitchen with a dishwasher. We were so impressed a friend snagged the cabin for the following year before we even left the driveway. Only minor gripe is it was hard to find in the dark due to the lights by driveway entrance not working.»

«Sometimes your next getaway is right down the road. We had a blast in the pool - the surrounding communities are typical small Iowa towns with enough chains to satisfy everyone's go to fast food in a pinch. Bring a shade structure and enjoy the swimming pool all day long.»

«Myself and two of my buddies did a fishing trip to the lake. The cabin was a short trip to the boat launch. The cabin was very clean and everything was well organized. The amenities that were supplied were sufficient. The staff had great communication with us when we needed it and addressed all of our questions. The only thing that I would say is that the Wi-Fi was a little quirky. For us it did not matter cuz we were not there to mess around on that Wi-Fi very much. I would recommend these ...

«We needed a place to stay for a celebration of life for our grandpa. The place was very roomy and clean. The nightlights in the basement were very helpful to find your way around. We just needed a place to rest our heads at night, but it would be a great place to stay and explore the lake and other amenities it has to offer.»
