This hotel is perfect if you are looking for a nice, clean, comfortable hotel without any frills. Staff very friendly, easy parking, quiet hotel, my kids enjoyed the pool, beds were okay and the bathrooms clean and updated but on the smaller side. They provide breakfast, mainly the basics. Eggs, sausage or bacon, cereal, waffles, yogurt, pastries, bagels etc.

This is a wonderful place.. I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels in Williamsburg while my daughter is in college nearby. This is the best one I’ve found and it was actually less expensive than some of the others I’ve stayed in. Clean, good breakfast, good water pressure and hot showers. They actually even cleaned my room each day which is a rarity these days. I will be back.

We had a lovely stay. My partner and I were here for a couple nights for an anniversary trip to Busch gardens, just looking for something convenient and nearby. When the hotel staff found out it was our anniversary, they welcomed us into our room with a card signed by all the staff, a heart balloon, swan towels on our bed, candy, and two champagne glasses with sparkling cider. It was such a sweet surprise, and it really made our stay special ❤️ Aside from that treat, our check in was quick, the front desk was very helpful and nice, and the facilities are clean and new. If we are in the area again we will definitely stay here. Thank you so much to all the staff at the Comfort Inn Williamsburg Gateway! We will remember this stay very fondly because of you.

Made my booking for 2 nights through Expedia. I was supposed to receive a normal king size bed room. I called a few days before to confirm my reservation to find out it was a handicap accessible room…. Not a huge deal but I asked the man working the front desk if he could change it. He says sure and that it’s been taken care of. When I show up it was still handicap accessible room. During check in the lady was not very helpful or welcoming. Kind of just threw my room key at me without telling me where my room was or breakfast times or anything. Not a big deal again just giving you an honest review. The room was very clean. The bed sucked. Very hard, old, can feel every spring, and dipped on the right side. The AC worked well, it was very loud though. The entrance door to the room had a large gap underneath and could hear everything outside the door, especially house keeping early in the morning. I was upset to pay $450 for 2 nights for a very mediocre room. The saving grace was the surrounding area. Very nice dining options and everything was within a short drive. Including Busch gardens. Overall 3/5

Very pleasant stay. Quiet. Comfortable beds. Close to Colonial Williamsburg. My only disappointment was the breakfast buffet. As someone who is allergic to wheat and to milk and who is health conscious, there wasn't anything I could eat. Management, please provide soymilk (or oatmilk or almond milk) and plain oatmeal to your breakfast buffet.

Room was huge like a small apartment love the separate bedrooms and having 2 bathrooms made it so much better to stay as a family. My biggest down fall to a hotel in my opinion is the 1 bathroom to share with my husband and 3 teenagers so it made getting ready and getting out so much easier for us.

We stayed at this hotel when visiting Williamsburg. It is very close to this tourist attraction. Great outlet shopping nearby with just about every shop you would want. Restaurants galore. Now, for our room. It was located right beside the elevator which had tile floor so it was noisy due to wheels on suitcases being rolled by. Quite a gap under the door so any hallway noise came right in. I would rate the breakfast as a 5 out of 10. I've had worse and I've had better.

We’ve stayed in several hotels in the area because our daughter attends W&M. This hotel proved to be one of the best. Definitely recommend! Will check availability here first for our next trip.

Comfort Inn Gateway is very clean, has an excellent hot breakfast, and great rates. One chilly evening my heat would not work. The young lady at the front desk could offer no solution including moving to another room. Since I was leaving the next day, I had no viable choice but to stay and be cold. I am a repeating guest; I was disappointed.
