I was supposed to arrive in Curaçao on January 2, a day I had been eagerly anticipating. However, due to an airspace shutdown, I was unable to reach my destination. With this unexpected turn of events, I reached out to the hotel, hoping for a shred of empathy or at least a chance to reschedule my stay.
What I received instead was a cold, robotic response devoid of any compassion. The staff seemed more interested in their bottom line than in the well-being of their guests. They flatly refused to consider any form of refund or even a partial credit for future use. It was as if they were entirely unconcerned that circumstances beyond my control had made my trip impossible.
After contacting Expedia, I was told the hotel might consider rescheduling my stay, but only after a lengthy approval process that could take up to seven days. It’s now been over seven days, and despite repeated follow-ups, I’ve heard absolutely nothing. This hotel clearly prioritizes profits over customer service.
If you value your time, money, and sanity, steer clear of this establishment. They are not just unhelpful; they are outright negligent. It seems they have no regard for their guests’ circumstances, treating us merely as dollar signs rather than individuals. Save yourself the headache and choose a hotel that actually cares about its customers!
