THE SPACE
The living area is open, bright and welcoming, with floor-to-ceiling sliding doors connecting it directly to the ocean-view terrace. That indoor-outdoor layout is what makes the apartment feel larger than its footprint — light and air move through it all day and the terrace becomes the room everyone gravitates to.

The kitchen is fully equipped with Bosch appliances for guests who want the option of proper meals at home and the dining area seats four comfortably. A washing machine and dryer make longer stays considerably easier.

Both bedrooms have king beds and private ensuite bathrooms, a layout that works equally well for a family, a couple wanting space, or two couples travelling together, with no negotiating over bathrooms.

A rental car is essential and guests tell us it's what makes the location pay off. Public transport on the island is limited and the heat makes even short distances feel longer on foot. With a car, Casa Piscadera's central position becomes its greatest asset. Willemstad in ten minutes, the west-end beaches within an easy drive and everything in between open to you. Parking is free and sits directly beside the apartment, inside the resort gate.

Notable Details – Energy Transparency
Electricity at Casa Piscadera is billed separately from the nightly rate. Usage is metered at the start and end of your stay and charged at $0.50 per kWh, settled after checkout from the security deposit. Most guests spend around $10 - $15 per night. Curaçao's trade winds keep the apartment naturally cool through the day, and most guests find they only need air conditioning at night with doors and windows closed. Keeping doors and windows shut while the air conditioning runs makes the single biggest difference to what you use. We tell you this before you book rather than after you leave, because nobody likes a surprise on the way home.

- A $500 security deposit (where applicable) is held on your credit card before arrival and released after check-out if no charges apply.
- For stays of 7 nights or more, we recommend a mid-stay clean. Curaçao's heat and humidity are part of its charm, but they're hard on a home: towels and linens lose their freshness quickly, and even small crumbs can draw in the island's ever-curious ants. A mid-stay clean includes laundering all sheets and towels and a full clean of the home, so it feels like day one again. It's $175, which simply covers our cost, and we'll find a time that suits your plans. Additional cleans can be arranged at any point during your stay at the same rate. Just ask.
