DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!
Day 1 (Fri): I found out at my pre-op appt I would have to have clean sheets every night prior to surgery on Mon. Day 2 (Sat): After getting ready, I saw what looked like the manager and explained I was having MAJOR spinal surgery Mon and needed to have clean sheets today and tomorrow as I would checkout Monday morning for surgery. He said no problem. I don’t trust people to do what they say they’ll do, so I marked the sheets/pillowcases with a washable crayola marker with a tiny dot so I could ensure clean sheets. When I got back that night, no dot = clean sheets, all good. Day 3 (Sun): Repeat dot process. However, when I arrived back, dots were still on sheets. I called front desk who seemed clueless what to do. After much back and forth, I finally went down to the desk to show him my preop instructions to prove I wasn’t “making this up”. Then, the owner barges out of NOWHERE and proceeds to tell me “you have 2 min to get back in ur room or I’m calling police and evicting you!” No offer to GIVE me clean sheets so I could change, no room change, NOTHING! To top it off, the owner then called EVERY HOTEL in WF and LIED to them to say my BF and I had a fight and damaged property (I traveled alone) and he banned us and they should do the same. So, I couldn’t get a room ANYWHERE ELSE. I got ZERO sleep prior to my surgery and had to bathe at the TRUCKSTOP, which honestly was cleaner than this man’s roach hotel that was NOTclean,let alone sterile
