Landsteder i Whixley

«5 star accommodation, only one problem the step into the kitchen . Needs high lighting.»

«Choose ground or first floor apartment as attic apartment is too hot and windows don't let in enough light. Mirror in bathroom fitted under eaves so too low to see yourself in if you're over 4ft tall. No long mirror in apartment either and bedroom too dark to use mirror over dressing table. Pelmets above windows and blinds hanging slightly below them block light so what little light the windows provide is further obscured by the window dressings. «Lovely old property with lots of character. Comfortable beds and nicely furnished. As a group of friends we enjoyed our stay. 20 min taxi or bus ride into York. Very few negatives. Bit of road noise as it's a busy road, a few hair dryers would have been nice, description said it was near a shop, but not the case.»

«Though they mentioned but it be nice to have shampoo and conditioner as well as body lotion in the bathroom.»

«We had a really lovely time staying at Hudson 5. The property is beautifully decorated and feels very welcoming as soon as you arrive. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well looked after, which made it easy to relax and enjoy our stay. The location was also a big plus, being so close to the centre and within easy reach of shops, restaurants, and everything we needed. It was the perfect base for exploring the area. Overall we had a great experience and would happily stay here again.»

«Gorgeous cottage with all the amenities we could ask for, hot tub was wonderful, the bed was so comfortable and the location perfect. Close to lots of wonderful walks for us and rhe dogs, a lovely pub and some great restaurants. Perfect new year retreat. »

«Great location for York City centre. So central and very convenient. Would stay again and would use this company due to great customer service.»

«Lovely cottage. Warm and cosy. Well managed»

«Great location with only a few minutes walk into the city, the views of the minster are stunning and the apartment was very clean with comfy beds.»

«Fab apartment in a great location. Rooms are lovely & clean, got everything you need, like home from home. Owner & her husband very easy to deal with & obtaining the key when we arrived was super easy. Great having a car parking space too, major asset in a city! If I had to pick at one thing, it would just be the noise from the apartment above, TV was very loud each night till gone 11 but can’t blame the owners or the apartment on that, that’s really the luck of the draw as to whose above.
