«This hotel was a big disappointment. The rated stars, images and information is far away from reality. The hotel is located in a worn and poor area and we was surprised to see the low standard of the hotel. The rented cabin with sea view for four adults was dark, poorly equipped and needed refurbishment. When we arrived there was a basket with coffee for three, dirty pillows on the couch and only seating for two on the terrace. The bathroom had access from both bedrooms, but the locks did not ...

Had activities in the morning (with "Auntie Kele") that were great for kids (and adults) for lei making from tea leaves (our 6 y.o. wore hers for the rest of the trip), bracelet making from bark of palm, hula dance and ukelele lessons (last one was difficult for us all but fun nonetheless). «Our group was divided in two different condos so we never needed to cook in the unit as we were together more in the larger one for gathering. We only used it for sleeping and showers. The absolute best perk of the unit is the hook-up to surf lessons on the North Shore from the owners. Best day of the trip for the teenagers in the group. Thank you so much for that amazing activity. «Comfortable studio apartment above the main residence is located in a typical, residential neighborhood about a fifteen minute walk to the beach. There are no amenities within walking distance. The adorable little town of Haleiwa is a fifteen minute drive and is full of tourist amenities. «Just our style. Country sounds and gorgeous landscape. Even the uncle’s place looked like American Pickers (Hawaiian style) and sneaking through was as exciting as it was as a kid without the neighbor yelling to get off his lawn. Just a short beautiful walk to a gorgeous empty beach and a short drive to the north shore. Not for those looking for a resort experience but perfect if you enjoy a glamping experience. We loved it!»

«Check in was super easy, this place has all the amenities you need. Very relaxing stay, amazing view. The sofa bed was broken but was able to find the blow-up mattress. We didn’t go to the community pool but turtle bay beach is just right outside. Easy short drive to town like Haleiwa and Kahuku. We even went to the PCC which was only a 10/15 min drive for a full day of events. Highly recommend if you have small families coming to North Shore.»

«We have stayed at these condos a few times, but this is by far the nicest one we’ve stayed at. Beautiful views, beautiful interior, and very convenient for our sons wedding at Waimea bay.
