Cabin on Flathead Lake


Looking for a place to stay on the shores of Flathead Lake? Then this is the place for you! The convenient location in the quaint town of Somers, MT on the north shore of the lake provides easy access to Kalispell, Glacier National Park, Bigfork, Lakeside and all the wonderful communities and attractions Flathead Valley has to offer.

Step out your front door to the paved path that leads directly to a fishing charter, a paddleboard, kayaking, jet ski and boat rental shop, and a public-access swimming dock and boat launch – all within about 100 yards! The home is not overly luxurious, but it is cozy with great views of the lake and the mountains, a large deck which opens onto the water, a firepit with lounge chairs and a big lawn for yard games. There are AC units in every bedroom. Parking for up to 3 vehicles. The owners’ pontoon boat will be kept in the boat lift and is not intended for renters’ use.

Loved Flathead Lake

Great property right on Flathead Lake. More than enough room for family of four or more. Amazing views of the lake with close proximity to amenities. Host was responsive and helpful. There is some traffic noise being so close to road but worth it considering the location.

Relaxing Lakeside Retreat - Highly Recommend!!

We had such an incredible time here! The lakeside location was incredible and the views were breathtaking, whether we were enjoying them from the deck, around the fire pit, or down on the private dock. Having jet ski, kayak and boat rentals right next door was also an amazing bonus - we were so excited to take advantage of these and get out on the water. Finding a comfortable spot for 7 people can be tricky, but this house exceeded all our expectations. The property itself was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed, and the host was responsive and accommodating to any additional requests. There was also plenty of space for us to lounge together or find our own moments of peace and quiet, which made our extended stay even more enjoyable. The location was also very convenient for exploring the area, getting to Glacier National Park, and enjoying local activities. This Vrbo truly provided the perfect setting for our Montana getaway - we would recommend to anyone (especially larger groups) and are already looking forward to returning!

The property manager went above and beyond giving us countless suggestions and helpful information for any activity we were interested in. When we had any questions she responded almost immediately every time. She made our experience go from good to great!

Great Lake House

We had a wonderful stay with the kids. The dock and fire pit were great for s’mores and playing. Beautiful porch with Lake view. Communication was wonderful and they came through last min when another property cancelled our reservation

Perfect lake front retreat

Great place to stay.

Older home with great access to the lake

We absolutely loved being on the lake! Our grandchildren played on the dock and were in the water or fished all day….and each evening we enjoyed a beautiful campfire. Exactly what we were looking for. Talissa was very helpful to us, before and during our stay. The house is older, two of the bedrooms quite small, but we were there to be outside, and it gave us all we needed!

Totally Great on the Lake

This location is great! near all the sites and right on the lake. The place could use some updating, but it was really clean with lots of space. It's right on the highway, but you really don't notice unless you sleep with the windows open. If you want to be on the water, with water vehicle rentals right next door, this is a great place.

Quirky house with a great view

The house was adequate - an older house, but it was clean and convenient. The view was great - it was right on the lake - just beautiful! Since it was right on 93, there was definitely road noise. Talyssa was a great host - she was very responsive, and her property was well-supplied.

Amazing view and wonderful hostess!

The views and the location were the highlight of this property. We had an amazing view of the lake and easy access to everything we needs. Our hostess was so kind and quick to respond to requests. We really appreciated the small touches like having local coffee in our cabin when we arrived, necessities in the kitchen and lots and lots of pillows. The house is unique for sure, but well suited for a couple of families or anyone who needs or wants some privacy. Would definitely return.
