«We have been to many lodges but this has got to be the best one we have stayed at, newly refurbished and my god you can sure tell… we loved every minute of our stay, inside was very cosy and had everything we needed. The hot tub was perfect and red hot for all of our weeks stay. We enjoyed watching and listening to the wildlife whilst sat on the swing in the day and at night. We wouldn’t hesitate on coming back to this lodge site.»

«This is our second stay at Oakwood Lodges. Smooth transaction from booking to check in and check out. All information provided prior to check in including a telephone call which I found helpful. Lodges are all unique in their own styles. Lodge was clean and everything provided from away from home. Very comfortable. We took the children this time and they loved the hot tub, game of pool and darts, we were all kept entertained.»

«Really well placed for shops and pubs/restaurants etc., whilst still on a quiet enough residential street. After a very long journey in the heat really didn't want to get the car out again and was able to walk to the Tesco Express and back in less than ten minutes. Check-in and communication with host was great - we phoned twice and the call was answered immediately both times. We were put into a different house on arrival to what we'd expected but this was no problem and probably better than ...

«Becca and Tony made us feel very welcome, both before arrival and during our stay. The lodge was very comfortable and well equipped. Some of the automatic, sensor lights seemed to take a bit of working out with some switches not in an obvious place.Tip: Take or buy a rubber mat for the shower rooms, especially if mobility is an issue.Very quiet and dark at night.»
