I liked that the hotel was quiet, I felt safe. It was a little difficult to find because there is a shared entrance with a lumber yard right in front of it. I did not like that our breakfast eggs were fake. And the bathroom was way too small. The hotel staff was friendly, professional, and accommodating.

The room was nice and clean. The bed was uncomfortable and the walls were very thin, all I could hear is the room next me coughing. The hotel area looks scratchy behind a lumber yard, but very safe. The room it self was in good condition, but the bathroom need some renovating.

It was very pleasant, clean, comfortable, and the staff was great. Gwen our house keeper was wonderful. I had left my purse in the room when leaving and she came running out to give to me. Even before this she was very caring. i was alone with grandchildren and she was patient with us getting out of our room. Thank uo.

This is a charming hotel with reasonable rates and easy access to both RTES 89 and 91. Remarkably, we did not hear any traffic noise!

Website says full access restaurant but it’s closed Sunday/Monday and don’t mention that since we were there on a Monday had to go out for dinner. Also a lot of dust in the room and cobwebs.

Thank you for the honest review. Our direct website does list that we have a Full Service Restaurant, the restaurant is only open Tuesday - Saturday. We will have to update our website with the dining hours. Thank you for making us aware, we appreciate your stay with us!

Unable to use any facilities (pool, entrance seating, no coffee at front, room not supplied well) pool area was over taken by out of control youth. Youth were running, yelling, fighting inside/outside of facility no supervision or control by staff.

We appreciate your honest feedback. This past weekend we had multiple youth hockey groups stay at the hotel with us, as they do yearly. We try to inform our other guests staying that are not apart of the groups of the extra activity they may see during their stay. lovely place for a quick getaway
We were worried at first when we saw that place was located in a busy area. Much to our suprise, the place was quiet. Great having a pool and hot tub. Our room was clean,comfortable and quiet. Real nice breakfast. Staff was very helpful. Close to hiking that we were interested in doing.

Its very out dated, the carpet in my room had old cigarette burns in it, the blinds are old and the caulking in the bathroom under and around the sink and tub is split and not doing its job. The entrance is the best part about the place. Their food also tastes packaged and not fresh or like a chef made it, more like they took it out of a package and ran it through a conveyer oven

Anytime we need to visit DHMC we always stay at Fireside Inn. Our kids love playing in the pool while we enjoy the jacuzzi.

The property is showing signs of age, but the staff are nice and the breakfast is great. The rooms are clean but a little tired. Really like the massage chairs - a nice touch.
