Our clean and minimalist space offers everything you need to unwind, prepare simple meals, and enjoy the tranquility of nature. Whether you’re curling up with a good book on the back porch or lounging in bed, we've created the perfect setting for relaxation. For dog lovers, one well-behaved dog MAY BE considered on a case-by-case basis.
Your Accommodations:Located at the back of the historic Pleasant Valley Commons, a restored 1875 Grange Hall listed on the Maine Historic Registry, our studio features a comfortable memory foam queen bed, and a wet bar equipped with a two-burner portable induction cooktop, toaster oven, microwave, mini fridge, and sink. The charming space has been thoughtfully designed in what was once a cord wood shed, now renovated to modern standards.Stay cozy year-round with an air-source heat pump for heating and cooling, complemented by modern electric baseboard heating for those colder nights. Step outside to your private porch with Adirondack chairs and a designated area for ski equipment. In winter, enjoy the convenience of plowed access and parking off the street by your private entrance, featuring self check-in via a key lockbox.
Explore the Surroundings: Just 5 minutes from Bethel village and 10-15 minutes from Sunday River and Mount Abrams ski areas, you'll find ample opportunities for outdoor adventures, including excellent Nordic skiing nearby. Bethel also offers a growing selection of dining options, a movie theater, a bowling alley, and charming local shops. The town is home to Gould Academy, a prestigious prep school renowned for its ski racing program.Nestled in the peaceful West Bethel area along the main route to Gorham, NH, and the Eastern White Mountains, our neighbors are friendly yet respectful of privacy.
