Obviously you didn’t read the property description. The house is over 100 years old and not built specifically to be a rental as maybe you had in past. This has been my family’s cabin and has been used by hundreds of guests that appreciate going to mountains and experiencing nature. I explained to you when you arrived 3 hours early the issue with cobwebs and showed you the cobweb brush we use on a daily basis. There is no chamber maids or room service so I would recommend staying in a hotel next time you wish to go away. The bathroom spa was scrubbed before your stay personally by me and the description specifically indicates the only things provided are towels. As far as the game room goes nothing required quarters The hot tub is checked and maintained daily. You complained that it wouldn’t heat up so I showed you the touchpad to turn on.

I attempted to get the dishwasher repaired but it needed a new pump being the weekend it was unavailable. There is a double sink with dish soap provided. Your group misused the freezer and ice maker causing the filler tube to dislodge fill g the freezer with water which caused fan miter to make noise and burn out. The hot tub works perfectly no issues were mentioned by you during your stay. As for the lawn that’s a new one as it rained for days prior to and during your stay and as we all know grass grows when it rains and landscape companies wait until the rain is over.

Glad you enjoyed your stay! Sorry about the cobwebs they seem to appear overnight as a result of the being over 100 years old with a forced hot air furnace. We strive to clean and sanitize the house after every guest leaves. We will check the cupboards for more organization but depending which one you were referring to as it's stated in the property description this is my home and many cabinets and drawers contain personal belongings. The beauty of VRBO is that we can share our home with many so they can experience the mountains. This house wasn't built for renting so it' contains a lot of the true nature of the Adirondacks. It was no secret that there were cameras inside my property but were pointed outside. There was one on a prize buck trophy in the living room pointed directly at it and contrary to Ms. Zoblers claim nothing else was visible from that camera. The camera issue had been disclosed on my properties description so there were no suprise s Out of 50+ guests now there's an issue which she alleviated by unplugging all the cameras after their arrival on Weds around 4pm. She requested a free night for not having a working hot tub so I offered her 2 free nights or a free night on another stay. Nope that wasn't what she wanted to hear. So from 5pm until 9am Thanksgiving day and over 18hrs into the trip she decides to text me requesting a return call. When I called back and introduced myself she began yelling into the phone hysterically "you have cameras you have cameras". I said obviously since you unhooked them. She then called me names I'm not going to repeat. When I was trying to explain why someone would want a security system she again berated me calling names and I did say it's for your protection in case someone wants to murder you. Through this whole discourse she kept yelling even when I was trying to explain the vrbo policy as I've talked to them about this. She then said she's all packed and ready to go so I said good it's time you should go back to Connecticut. She said are you kicking us out I said no you just said you're leaving. This was the craziest experience ever with a guest. When we went there later there were broken blinds, window and beds pulled from the wall. Unreal. Oh and the comment about the barn door bathroom has never been raised by hundreds of guests So if you value your property and sanity DO NOT EVER CONSIDER RENTING TO THESE PEOPLE!!!!

Being secluded in the Mountains there's certain give and takes we deal with. The power going out flooding leaks and a malfunctioning hot tub.
