Wellfleet Woodlands Escape - Privacy in the Pines!

We are a Sat to Sat rental from second week of June through Sept. 2026. Escape to the woods of North Wellfleet! At our home situated just shy of the Truro line and surrounded by protected Cape Cod National Seashore, you will find serenity and privacy in the pines. Our Woodlands Escape is the perfect property for a family or two couples with children vacationing together. We feature ample outdoor gathering spaces, beautiful local art, a dedicated basement sleeping and entertainment space for kids, as well as many household amenities to make traveling easy and enjoyable such as high speed Wifi, a fully stocked kitchen, air conditioning and beach supplies. We are 5 minutes drive to town, bayside beaches, and kettle ponds; 8 minute drive to oceanside beaches, and neighboring P-town is just 15 minute drive away. As a family we enjoy the leisurely 10-15 minute bike ride into Wellfleet town center for groceries, ice cream and shopping.

Our house features the beautiful artwork of the former owner, a local artist and art educator. Our property features a functioning artist live/work space for a year round artist, which is on site in the property's adjacent garage. You will likely hardly notice it, but when you rent with us, you directly support a vibrant local art community on the Outer Cape which is at risk due to the affordable housing shortage here.

We are life long lovers of the Outer Cape. Thus we believe in stewardship of the land, support of local artists and businesses, and support of year round residents to keep Wellfleet and its surrounding communities special! We hope you will also embody these values during your stay with us. We can't wait to host you.

This is a lovely home in a quiet, wooded street. It was clean , with a well stocked kitchen - ample cookware and a compliment of spices! There is a really nice screened in porch where we had all our meals . Sheets and towels were provided , which really helped with packing. Kate was easy to communicate with and even went out of her way to mail back a forgotten item to us. Highly recommended!

Great location, cute place

Even though had to leave early due to a family emergency, the place was lovely. Very comfortable and the hosts even left us a little welcome gift. Great location, close to beaches and Ptown but tucked away in the woods.

Full of Cape Cod Charm

Lovely, peaceful stay

This was our 2nd time staying here, and we had another lovely stay. The house is super clean, uncluttered, and relaxing. We love the screened in porch, the coffee :) and that the hosts provide beach chairs, boogie boards and beach towels. The location is great. We hope to return!

Easy Breezy Beautiful Cape Cod

This is our second time staying at this property. Everything at the house is so convenient and clean. It's location makes traveling anywhere on the cape a breeze. The screened in back deck makes for great nights / memories. Plenty of space to get some R&R away from people as well as room for everyone to hang out all together. Privacy in the Pines is right!

From the large screened in porch literally nestled in the pines to all the modern conveniences of home, this rental couldn’t be more perfect. That’s why it’s our 3rd year in a row. Easy, quick backroad route to the center of Wellfleet. National Seashore beaches and Ptown closeby too. Thank you again!

Idyllic Wellfleet Retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this beautifully appointed house, it truly felt like home. We couldn’t have asked for a more comfortable and welcoming place to be for our vacation. The location is close to everything we needed and yet felt secluded and remote, it was blissful. We wanted for nothing during our stay and simply cannot wait to return next year. A gem in Wellfleet

We LOVED our time at the Wellfleet Woodlands! It was super clean and had everything we needed to feel at home. Our favorite part was eating meals and playing card games out on the screened in porch - felt like we were in a tree house! I loved drinking my coffee out on the balcony amongst the trees every morning. Such a great location - close to beaches, ponds, town center, restaurants and shops. We fell in love with Wellfleet and could not have asked for a better place to stay. A little slice of heaven for our family.

Dreamy "retreat" to Wellfleet

Wonderful hospitality, beautiful, wonder-inspiring location and such a serene site and lovely home. We loved being able to get into Wellfleet and P-town and access beaches BEFORE the crowds of summer, too. The house itself had all the amenities and instructions we needed and was very clean - I miss that screen porch first thing in the morning!

Cape perfection in the woods

The house is so lovely, for a couple or a group. Big enough to make a gathering comfortable and cozy enough for 2 (or 1!). We’ll be back with the kids, and loved our couples weekend of eating on the screened porch in the woods, being cozy on the couch and exploring Wellfleet and the upper Cape. Wellfleet woodlands paradise

Absolutely clean, organized, beautiful and well loved home, with every consideration taken to make us feel welcome and at home. Every detail was perfect to ensure a comfortable stay. Perfect Getaway

This property is perfectly thought out. So close to beaches, town center, and the bike trail. Located on a quiet road with privacy. Inside the home, is open and spacious with room to all be together. The outdoor screened porch is so relaxing. The little things around the house like beach chairs, towels, chargers, coffee, etc. makes all the difference and life a bit more relaxing during your stay.
