Dette 5 soverom, 3 bad "beach cottage", bygget i 1925, med flere renoveringer og tillegg utført gjennom årene ligger på en høyde på 3 dekar med spektakulær fjernt utsikt over Wellfleet Harbor, ut mot Great Island med Cape Cod Bay i utover. Huset tilbyr privatliv, en hyggelig setting blant furutrær og en kort spasertur (0,1 mil) til Powers Landing, en sand Bayside strand. Wellfleet Center og havnen er omtrent 3/4 av en mil fra huset. Første etasje er det en stor stue med sovealkove for TV titting, et stort kjøkken med spise-i spisestue samt et bad med dusj på gangen. Det er to skjermede verandaer, en på hver side av huset, samt to utendørs terrasser, en plassert på fronten og den andre på baksiden av huset. Andre etasje Det er 5 soverom, 1 med en konge og en med en queen size-seng i den andre, 1 soverom med 2 enkeltsenger, en annen med en trille seng (2 twin size-senger), og et lite soverom med 1 enkeltseng. Det er 2 bad i denne etasjen, ett med badekar og den andre med dusj. Vaskemaskin / tørketrommel er plassert i andre etasje av gangen. Havet strendene er om en 8-10 minutters kjøretur. Ikke refunderbart $ 135. 00 Administrative Security Fee pluss gjeldende statslige og lokale skatter. Linen Pakke er tilgjengelig på forespørsel for maksimal kapasitet til en ekstra kostnad på $ 297. 00.

We also enjoyed the view from the Adirondack chairs outside. Wish we could have enjoyed the screened in porches more but they were a bit soggy from the rain. Nice walking distance to beach - 10-15mins. Overall great experience. Clean and charming, very Cape Cod-esque!

Quaint Wellfleet

Nice quaint house in a great area in Wellfleet. Very well situated, close to town center and directly on the bayside. Kitchen well stocked with pots and pans. Spacious. Was not as clean as we expected but still ok. The only negative was the quality of the mattresses. They are severely old and require an upgrade.we would rent again if mattresses were replaced with comfortable options.

This is the 4th or maybe 5th year that we rented this location and things were pretty much as they had been in the past with 2 negative changes; 1) the mosquitos were bad, treatments need to be done weekly as it was impossible to enjoy any time outside the house and 2) the cleanliness was a bit worse than in prior years, not sure if the service company was changed but the stove was dirty with debris on several of the stove knobs.

Difficult to get answers from property management staff prior to our stay. But nice people. Only downside: the property was besieged by mosquitoes, by the thousands. Walking on the property meant being under attack.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Renting this cottage feels like you have borrowed a family member's long time home, with many pluses and a few drawbacks. The listing is not 100% accurate - no first floor bedroom, no toaster oven, no beach umbrella, etc. Some of the bedrooms are tiny, the storm windows were stuck down in many rooms - the house did not feel like anyone had opened it for summer rental. The grill and many of the pots in the kitchen were filthy, and we arrived to a full dishwasher of dirty dishes, and a first floor toilet that did not fill. That said, once we got everything worked out, the house is airy, charming, and perfectly located, and we had a wonderful family week there. Just come prepared for some quirks, and you will have a great time. We would definitely rent it again.

The house was very dirty and many things in bad condition. Mold in the showers and bathrooms, very dirty kitchen, appliances, missing shades, weeds all outside and growing into the screen porch. Dirty dishes in the cabinets, most closets were a mess with old bedding and clothing and items. None were usable.

We understand, you are probably dealing with labor issues, however we feel a home should be vacuumed well before new guest arrived. It was not. The house vacuum is old and does not work that well anymore. We know as we re-vacuumed the house multiple times(when we arrive, during the stay and upon leaving). Please upgrade for the sake of your guests.The multiple fans and AC units in the house need major cleaning after heavy seasonal use during a hot summer. As soon as you turned them on, they blew dirty air throughout the rooms they were in.For the $$ paid for our visit, we just feel the house was not as clean as we would expect.

Nice house, terrible realty company

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed the house, but our experience with Oceanview Realty was awful. Upon taking possession of the house on Saturday afternoon we immediately saw that the freezer part of the refrigerator was broken, as the door would not close. We immediately reported this to Oceanview and asked that it be repaired ASAP. We also continued asking for the repair on Sunday and Monday, all to no avail. By then the refrigerator was not functioning well as the unit kept trying to keep the freezer cold. We had to go out and buy bags of ice to keep our food in the fridge at an appropriate temperature. On Tuesday my husband went to the Oceanview office and stated he was not leaving until the problem was taken care of. Finally someone was sent to fix the freezer on Tuesday morning. The people we spoke with at Oceanview were either nasty or of no help. We have not been offered any rebate on the rental fee or even reimbursement for the ice we had to buy to keep the fridge cool. We will not be doing business with Oceanview again and we would warn others not to as well.

This is a really nice large house close to restaurants, beaches and town It is well equipped in kitchen and patio areas but the blankets and some pillows left for use didn’t match the standards of the rest of the house .This is an easy fix. We enjoyed our stay after a year of Covid quarantine
