  • Sesongen 2019! Dette 3-roms 2-roms hjemmet ble bygget i 2004, og ligger omtrent 1 kilometer fra Long Pond på en rolig sandvei. De stue-, spisestue- og kjøkkenområdene deler en lys, åpen plass med tilgang til dekk og bakgård. Det er ett soverom i hovedetasjen med en queen size-seng sammen med et komplett bad utenfor gangen. De to andre soverommene, det ene med en queen size-seng og det andre med to enkeltsenger, og fullt bad er i andre etasje. Soverommene har vindus AC-enheter. Dette huset har en sentral beliggenhet omtrent 5 minutters kjøretur eller en hyggelig sykkeltur til Wellfleet Center, dammer og havstrender. Ikke refunderes $ 185. 00 Administrativt sikkerhetsgebyr pluss gjeldende statlige og lokale skatter. Linpakke er tilgjengelig på forespørsel for maksimal kapasitet mot en ekstra kostnad på $ 206. 00.

Pleasant retreat

The house was just the right size and in a great location for what we were seeking. We could access beaches and the bike path by bike or by a short drive. We could walk out the door to lovely walking trails in the National Seashore. Nice dining room space for the 6 of us to gather and play games, work on art projects, or chat.

But the living room needs another couch or easy chair, the couches were too soft and the upstairs beds were not good. Mattress pads and pillows also bottom of the line! With improvement in these areas, this rental would be a 5-star

Clean, the perfect location with respect the proximity to the Ocean, the ponds and the Bay. We also had a ring side seat for the 2022 edition of the PMC which is always a treat.

Couches in living room are old and dirty- they feel damp with no AC in that area. House feels under decorated in general- no towels in the house.-

August 2024 Review of 240 Old Long Pond

Rating Details: The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, accessible to Long Pond and downtown Wellfleet.The property was poorly cleaned when we arrived ... we spent many hours cleaning it ourselves, including buying a mop (which we left at the property) so that we could better clean the floors. We also washed all of the utensils and the the utensil containers as we could see the dirt there.We left the property in much better shape than we found it.we also would have benefitted from more explicit instructions on the use of the TV ... we figured it out but it is a different system than conventional cable.We appreciated the outdoor patio space in additional to the living room/dining room. The bedrooms were fine.Overall, it was good experience, especially after the 1st day or 2 of cleaning that we did.

Great location but house needs work

The location of the property is great. The house is not maintained with care. The couches are old and very uncomfortable (and dirty!); the box spring upstairs is soiled; and there hasn't been an appropriate deep - cleaning: door frames are dirty, there is detritus underneath the couch cushions, there is dirt next to the refrigerator and under the garbage can area. The pans in the kitchen are old and the teflon is cracked to such a degree that I feared using them. No basic condiments like salt and pepper. Each room needs more light. And fixtures needs fixing. Management was very gracious and responsive, however.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was not in great shape. Wasn’t well cleaned (many dead bugs in bedroom floors) toilets were old and dirty. Kitchen not well stocked AT ALL! No chopping block, no working coffee machine, cheese board that had a huge crack down the middle. No real outdoor space to use, no cushions on chairs outside, no umbrella. New grill was nice. For what was charged for this property, we feel robbed.

Could use an extra chair in living room but the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses and pots (and world’s largest supply of dull knives!). Byo salt/pepper etc. Easy walk to Long and Great ponds; we also walked to beach so as not to spend hours waiting for a parking spot to open. We also walked into town (we like to walk 😊)Hot water was always available for our party of 4 and we used the washer/dryer. I would have liked to wash the light blankets that were provided as they were soiled but the laundry posted that they should not go in the washer. All in all a nice place in the woods.

Managed to go out to eat a few times, beached at HOM most of the week, golfed, and relaxed. Only issues at the house were lots of insects found their way through the window A/C units, and the 2nd floor toliet ran constantly. Called the Realtor who responded right away and was told that maintenance would call to correct but I never heard from maintenance. This should get fixed because it is a waste of water.
