«We had a lovely meal in the restaurant but unfortunately the stay was less impressive. Having booked a room for 3 it was set up for 2 with just 2 towels, 2 mugs, 2 glasses and 1 tea bag. At breakfast we waited 50 minutes for our cooked breakfast with no apology or explanation. When it finally arrived we asked if we could have some toast with it only to be told that they do not do toast with the English Breakfast! «The pub was amazing, the rooms were in an outbuilding. There was quite a lot of noise overnight from a pump or compressor in the basement. Also the room had no wardrobe or place to hang clothes up or even a chair to put your clothes on overnight. To balance out, the bedding was high quality, bed comfy and the bathroom had a large shower and looked very new. Good breakfast.»

«Room wasn't what I was expecting- I thought I had booked a larger, more updated room. It was okay but not what I pictured. It was clean and big enough for us but needs to be upgraded.
