Chapelton Vineyards, a stunning, 75-acre property nestled in the heart of historic Washington, Texas, is a haven for wine lovers seeking an unforgettable experience. The newest destination for fine wine, food and weekend getaways is the creation of founders Kurt and Michelle Lyn. Just over an hour west of Houston, it's a perfect weekend destination.



As you enter the picturesque estate, a scenic road winds its way through 14 acres of thriving vineyards, leading to the magnificent two-story, 7,500-square-foot tasting room. Step inside and be greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance, where modern and industrial design blend effortlessly. The expansive tasting room offers breathtaking panoramic views of the vineyard, inviting you to embark on a sensory exploration of Chapelton Vineyards’ impressive portfolio of premium and signature wines.



Our dedicated team is passionate about sharing the story behind each bottle as you savor the flavors of our carefully crafted reds, whites and sparkling varieties. Discover the allure of grapes sourced from regions around the world as well as our estate-grown grapes, including the Blanc du Bois, Black Spanish, Merlot and Tempranillo.



To enhance your wine tasting experience, we have curated a thoughtfully designed menu of small bites, charcuterie, sandwiches, salads and indulgent chocolate pairings. Raise a glass and toast to Chapelton Vineyards’ exceptional wines and the natural beauty of our estate. Come join us and create cherished memories with every sip. Open daily 11-6, closed on Tuesday.

The Villas at Chapelton Vineyards sit near the vineyard and tasting room. Guest can also enjoy short trips to neighboring historic Washington, County, Texas, as well as nearby Grimes County. Shop for antiques, and enjoy a visit to charming Brenham, Texas, about 20 minutes away. Visit the famed Washington on the Brazos State Park, just three miles away. See charming Chappell Hill Texas, home to an historic town square and lavender farm. With so many things to do near Texas’ birthplace, The Villas at Chapelton Vineyards are just down the road, but a world away.

Our two new villas are perfect for a couples’ or family weekend trip, or private event. Most of our guests come to see the sweeping views of the vineyard, walk our winding 1k path road, and visit our beloved Tasting Room.

Some guests prefer to keep to themselves, ordering from our exclusive chef’s menu. Others love to host friends for the day, including garden bachelor and bachelorette gatherings, garden parties, cookouts and celebrations like rehearsal dinners. If you’re looking to reset and refresh with those near and dear to you, don’t hesitate to ask us about your unique plans as our guests.
