«The pub was amazing, the rooms were in an outbuilding. There was quite a lot of noise overnight from a pump or compressor in the basement. Also the room had no wardrobe or place to hang clothes up or even a chair to put your clothes on overnight.
To balance out, the bedding was high quality, bed comfy and the bathroom had a large shower and looked very new. Good breakfast.»

«Welcoming and friendly reception with time given to explaining the guesthouse facilities etc. Spotlessly clean room and shower room. Spacious bedroom with walk-in wardrobe for storage. Warm and comfortable. Quality bedlinen. Tea making facilities in room as well as access to guest kitchen for preparing food if required. Delicious breakfast preordered beautifully presented. Good WiFi. Quite simply nothing was too much trouble for Natalie who demonstrates quite clearly that she loves her running ...

«What a great night at the Catherine wheel. We met Debbie when we checked in and she was so warm and friendly she made everything very easy for us. The room was clean, modern and very quaint. The food was outstanding in the restaurant with a good menu selection. There were 11 of us for dinner and you could tell everything was fresh and home made the pie was especially incredible. Thank you Catherine wheel we will be back again!! »

«This is simply a very nice place to stay. It's unpretentious and excellent value for money. The rooms are small but comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. We have stayed a couple of times for B&B and would certainly recommend it.»

«Crown House is an east Oxford gem. Very reasonably priced rooms, maintained spotlessly, and managed by a kind, very hospitable, and attentive staff. Cowley Road location is ideal given local superabundance of genuine ethnic restaurants, multiple supermarkets, specialty stores, and Oxford's largest bike shop.
