Overall a cute TINY place, comfy beds, decent for eating and sleeping but not really enough space to do anything else. This should be marketed as a 'cozy vintage beach cottage apartment' since its definitely old, and very small, with updated features. Our main issue was that this was advertised as an entire house with 2312 square feet, when in reality it was only one small apartment out of three within the whole house. Upper apartment has signs saying "ferocious cats" and "children should be on leashes" which made my two kids feel pretty unwelcome.
Definitely did not feel clean when we arrived, floors felt sticky and coffee table had huge gobs of hair around two of the legs.
While it is technically 'on the water' it's close to the shores of the river estuary, not the ocean, and in reality you have to tromp through a good amount of sharp grasses to reach a muddy flat. The location is great as long as you have the ability to drive around, as it puts you in the middle of some really amazing beaches and towns.
Kitchen was well appointed, loads of plates and silverware which was great for us, but the lack of washing machine and dryer ended up being a big issue for our family. Bathroom was super small and cramped, shower was like nothing we had ever seen and we had to look up instructions on YouTube. One of the fans was broken, and the tv remote batteries were almost toally dead making for some frustrating movie nights. Overall, we wouldn't stay there again, or recommend it.
