Relaxing Oceanfront!

New owners Lisa and Scott are so excited to host you. "We want you to experience the best time ever on your Maui vacation. Our one bedroom, one bath, second floor condo has a magnificent and panoramic ocean view. This is one of the few places in Ma'alaea, where you can hear the sound of the waves as you sit on the lanai or on the couch! You will have a hard time moving from the lounge chair."

The space:
"It is our hope that you will find the same sense of feeling nurtured by this special space in its exquisite location. We want you to experience the best time ever on your Maui vacation."

This space is a relaxed oceanfront condo with moderate temperatures, trade winds, and lanai chairs waiting for you. If you are awake just before the sun rises, you can see the turtle heads bobbing up for air...right from the lanai! Then watch them float in the waves in the evening.

There is a covered, assigned parking spot in the lower garage. You will find shopping carts near the elevator to help you move your luggage and groceries to and from the condo with ease.

Our location is central to everything you may want to do during your visit to Maui. After your day's sightseeing, you can come back to a swim in the heated pool and/or barbecue on the outside grills. There are lounges near the BBQ's to relax on and just take in the beauty and peacefulness that will surround you.

At the end of our dead-end road, which is only a 10-minute walk, you will find a 5-mile white sandy beach that is the longest walking beach on Maui. You will find it all to yourself on many days. The beach adjoins a bird sanctuary and you will be treated to all kinds of rare birds unique to Hawaii.

One Special Note!
From approximately mid-December through March you can enjoy seeing the humpback whales right from the lanai, it is truly magical! All year-round, watch the sea turtles play in the waves, right from your lanai.

Lovely Maui

We enjoyed every minute. We have a friend who lives in the building next door and it was great to visit with her. We were so close to the harbor that it was easy to walk to the boats for snorkeling or sunset cruises. In the evening it was wonderful to sit on the lanai.

The view from the unit is amazing! We watched the sunrise each morning, and often saw sea turtles swimming right by the sea wall. We loved being on the bay with so much whale activity during the month of February. The sound of the waves was just wonderful.The unit was well equipped for our stay. We would stay again.

A room with a view!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this very clean and comfortable condo. Since our bodies were still on EST time, we would wake up way before sunrise...which then led to enjoying starry skies followed by stunning sunrises every morning. Wow!! This rental has everything you need. Attention to detail and recent upgrades by the owners provides for a very enjoyable stay. Excellent communication and tips for enjoying the area were provided by our property manager. Very clean! We will definitely book again in the future!We loved the location. Being in the middle, you can explore both west and south sides of the island with ease. Getting to the north shore is also easy. Right within walking distance: We enjoyed sitting outside with a harbor view while eating lunch at Seascape (next to the aquarium), breakfast and lunch outside at Ma'alaea General Store Cafe & Deli again with views of the boats/harbor, and cookies and ice cream at Hula Cookies. I mentioned enjoying sunrises everyday ...but you can also enjoy beautiful sunsets by simply driving west for 15 mins on hwy 30 and pulling over on the shore side. Great condo, great location and great view!!!

Frequent Maui visitor but first time staying in Maalaea

Condo was excellent and, for the Maalaea harbour area, was probably one of the best. Not one thing we could say was missing from this well provisioned unit. We have been to Maui dozens of time and wanted to try this location. We didn't hate the area but just prefer other parts of Maui to stay in.

Great place to stay on Maui

Clean and super well-equipped condo in a nice, quiet area, away from the crowds of Kihei and Ka'anapali, but still walking distance to shops, restaurants, coffee, and two beaches. Property manager Barbara is helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay here again on any future visit to Maui.

Excellent host!

We had a great stay! Love the location and the unit was very clean and well appointed. The parking garage is limited to vehicles of 6’ or less so big SUVs beware you will need to find street parking. The building was quiet and enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again!

Welcoming

Although Milowai Resort is an older property. It is well maintained and relatively quiet. It is in a great location and central to many spots on the island. It is within walking distance to a long strand of beach that goes on for miles as well as a short walk to the Ma’alea harbor. The unit itself was well appointed and had an upbeat island vibe to it - especially the living area. The bedroom is next to the front entry and can get a bit noisy during late afternoon and early evening but given the overall layout of the complex, it is a feature common to most properties of this size. The view from the living area and lanai is spectacular. Within minutes of checking in I spotted the first whale and would see many more during our 10 day stay. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay here. It was restorative, therapeutic and mesmerizing to just be and not do…

Great Property

Nice condo with ocean view! In condo washer/dryer. Reserved parking spot. Walking distance to Ma'Alaea Harbor for cruises, aquarium and small shopping center. Great location for home base in Maui - easy access to East, West and North shores.

Best supplied vacation rental I've ever been in

This comfortable condo is in a great location for all the Maui activities we had planned and has terrific views. One morning we watched the full moon set over the ocean, and minutes later could see the sun rising from behind Haleakala. It was magical! The property manager has provided absolutely everything you could need, including a decent selection of spices, insect repellent for hiking, after sun gel, bandaids, beach gear, and more. I've never see such a well supplied vacation rental. We were greeted with a big basket of goodies, including a Maui Gold pineapple, which is the most delicious thing I've ever eaten in my life. Also banana bread, coffee, honey, etc. One of the a/c units was acting up when we arrived, but the property manager came down within minutes to address the issue and made absolutely sure we were comfortable before leaving. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful, cool unit. Seamless rental experience

I had a great time at your 1 bedroom condo in Maalaea. It was very easy to rent and it was set up nicely when I arrived. I really enjoyed having air conditioning in both the living room and the bedroom. It was too windy to keep the doors open if you have allergies so having the 2 AC units was luxurious. I'll definitely be back!

Perfect location! Great view! Away from crowds.

Great place for my husband and I and our 13 year old daughter. Away from crowded areas of island but close enough to easily get to stores/restaurants. Walked to harbor for our sunset cruise! Very clean and well maintained. Air conditioning was huge plus for us as we went in August.

Just what we needed

The place was in good shape and very clean. It was a wonderful place to sit on the deck with a coffee and watch the sun rise. We saw Turtles everyday. The locomotion was convenient as a good halfway point between everything. Would stay again for sure. Very happy all around.

Relaxing condo in a quiet neighborhood

We loved our stay at this property. The view was amazing at all times of day and night. The condo itself was clean and comfortable - just as advertised. The A/C units in the bedroom and living area were a life saver. So many condos bragged about the island breezes and no need for A/C. The breezes are nice but, unless you enjoy 80s and relatively humid (in early May) you're going to want the A/C to be comfortable after a day on the beach or exploring the many things to do on the island. We called Barbara one time with a question about the wifi password and Barbara was quick to respond. The provided beach chairs and cooler were a big help. It was perfect for my wife and I. Would definitely stay here again.

Spring break

We had a great trip, the condo was just as expected! We love the view from the lanai watching turtles and whales jumping on the horizon! The bed is a little freaky but overall worked just fine and the sofa sleeper was great for our 2 girls! The condo was very well stocked we didn’t go without anything we needed and we ate in most of the time! Thank you again!

Maui paradise

We had a wonderful time in Maui. The unit was as described. The view off the deck was amazing. Whales and sunrise right from the deck. Maalaea is a little gem area. Very central to anywhere you want to go in Maui. Walking distance to an amazing beach and a harbor for any boat trip you want to experience. The owner and property manager were very easy to work with on any issue or question we had. We will definitely stay here again. Mahalo

Perfect Location with gorgeous view!

We only stayed three nights at this excellent property and we’re greeted by a fully stocked kitchen and welcome basket with fresh pineapple and other goodies. The check-in process was easy and seem less and when we had a request of the owner, Barbara sbe was very responsive and accommodating. You won’t go wrong staying here and the view and location are worth it!!

Perfect spot to Chill-ax

Our week's stay was comfortable and centrally located as we had planned activities throughout the island. Ma'alea is a quiet harbor and we loved the feeling of being away from the the bustle of Lahaina and Ka'anapali but having it accessible when we wanted it. Sitting on the lanai and looking up at Halekala was the island's gift to us each night day as well as the turtles, just a few feet away. The unit was well stocked and even had some things we didn't even know we needed. We would gladly stay here again..

Incredible experience

Great rental! Location was fantastic if you plan to tour the island because it is centrally located. The property was fully stocked with everything we needed. The owner went above and beyond by supplying things like ziplock bags. They even gave a pineapple as a welcome gift!
