Kana'i A Nalu is located in the heart of Ma'alaea. This four-story resort sits on 3 acres of manicured grounds. Enjoy all the amenities this resort offers such as pool access, BBQ grills, and outdoor dining tables. Nearby there is access to Sugar Beach - also known as Kealia Beach. Sugar Beach is the longest beach on Maui and is perfect for a long beach stroll. This sandy shoreline stretches for about 2.5 miles (4 km), from Haycraft Park in Ma'alaea all the way to north Kihei.

Nearby you'll find many attractions, shops and restaurants. Walk to Maui Ocean Center (Aquarium), take a sunset sail or whale watching tour from the nearby harbor, play miniature golf and more at Maui Golf & Sports Park, or shop at the Maui Harbor Shops. Ma'alaea is located in central Maui, bringing you closer to many excursions such as Hana or Haleakala. The resort is about 15 minutes away from the Kahului airport and 30 minutes to Lahaina.

Notice of Resort Improvements posted 8/28/26: Building E Concrete Restoration Project. Work is scheduled to begin on 9/14/26 and is estimated to take 3 to 4 months to complete. Please note the following stacks are in Bldg E: 17, 18, 19 and 20 (stack number = the last 2 digits of the unit number). Update 10/23/26: The Building D Concrete Restoration Project is scheduled to begin on or about 12/10/26 to 1/5/27 and is anticipated to take approximately 3 to 4 months to complete. Please note the following stacks are in Bldg D: 13, 14, 15 and 16 (stack number = the last 2 digits of the unit number). Included work: concrete spalling repairs, building painting, window resealing and waterproofing and related exterior restoration work. What to expect: periodic use of jackhammers and other construction equipment, construction noise and dust, lift equipment will be used and workers performing repairs in close proximity to windows and lanai.

Roofing Project: Installation of new silicone roofing system. Estimated start date between 11/2-11/9/26. Project is slated to take approximately 30 days to complete. There should be very little disruption to daily routines, however, expect there to be 3-4 few parking spaces available.
