Slovakia's High Tatras Mountain! I was at a frozen glacial lake called Štrbské pleso. It's one of the most iconic landmarks in Slovakia. It is really amazing to walk on it! And to see so many people having fun! With their friends, family and classmates. It was a beautiful early March day. I had a great winter holiday this year in Slovakia :). The views were really stunning everywhere!

In my post-processing work I did edit out a construction site (or whatever it is. I never got close enough to see). So, if you visit Štrbské pleso don't be surprised it is there!

And more info about Štrbské pleso: It's the 2nd-largest glacial lake on the Slovak side of the High Tatras, Maximum depth is 20 metres (66 ft). Surface elevation is 1,346 m (4,416 ft). And it's surface remains frozen for around 155 days per year!

«I loved staying at this iconic hotel. The room was great - I got a free upgrade - even though the bathroom setup was a little untraditional. Excellent bed. And what a view! Had the dinner buffet, which was sensational. Slovak comfort food! Breakfast was also good. Did the fairly short walk around the lake next to the hotel, and the view across that towards the hotel and the Tatra Mountains behind was nothing short of epic. What a location! «We enjoyed our stay at the Greenwood hotel. It was slightly hard to find even with the instructions provided by the hotel. The hotel staff was very friendly and we felt really welcome. The room was spotlessly clean and modern. The curtains could be better, though; they were very thin. The breakfast buffet was simle, but sufficient.
