At fist we got confused with paying at the property but the gay at front office were nice and patient trying to let of know we didn’t pay off to Expudian. Very helpful nice staff. Very good communication and service all time We recommend this property for a nice staying

Hotel Campanario De la Villa is an above-average boutique hotel just a two minute walk to the main plaza in Villa de Leyva. The property is generally well maintained and clean to experienced traveler standards. Our room (206) was nicely appointed, with a small balcony facing the very lightly trafficked street, a fireplace and lovely high ceilings throughout. The bathroom is large with natural lighting, and a large acrylic tub/shower combination. The king-size bed was pleasantly firm but compliant and all of the bed linens were in excellent shape. As the neighborhood is so quiet in the evenings - a good night's sleep is very easy to have. Why not 5-stars? Well, the property is not particularly luxurious. And the (included in our rate) breakfast was particularly disappointing in that there's little variety, and that nearly everything needed to be sent back as it was lukewarm. (I understand that early week is slow, but that's no excuse for indifferent food quality). The hotel staff were all friendly although we only spoke Spanish. As a popular tourist destination, we did observe that there always seemed to be someone with some English in the stores and restaurants, which is a pleasant surprise. My best recommendation for this property is that we liked it sufficiently enough to have already planned our return.

Excelente Hotel
Excelente Hotel, su ubicación es la mejor, habitaciones muy cómodas y limpias, a dos cuadras de la Plaza, algunas pequeñas observaciones: Les falta en las habitaciones secador de pelo, las mesas del restaurante podrían colocar manteles, la atención del personal en el restaurante podría ser mejor. De todas formas excelente hotel.

The hotel's warm and inviting atmosphere immediately made us feel at home. The staff members were not only professional but also incredibly friendly, always ready to assist with a genuine smile. The hotel's location is strategic. Whether enjoying breakfast on the terrace or relaxing by the pool, the serene atmosphere provided a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Great quality stay on quiet street near city cente
We got a family room since all the area hotels were heavily booked for the holiday weekend and were pleased it was even larger and more roomy than the photos showed. The king bed was super king could sleep 5 easily with a twin bed on the first floor but two very large twins on the second floor. So we we not unhappy not being able to book a second room for our 35 year old son-it was very comfortable for him and us.It worked out well. Great location and good restaurant in heavy restaurant area only 2 blocks from Plaza Mayor. Great staff and beautiful setting. Quiet side street except for Pentacostal Church singing across the street but that was not noticeable. Son loved the pool with bar service as comfortable and conveinent-only closed early at 8PM on nights of big fiesta on the plaza.

El hotel es lindo y cómodo. Las habitaciones muy agradables, camas cómodas y limpias; baños en perfectas condiciones . El desayuno standar americano incluido es bueno.Su personal muy amable y atento a las necesidades. A solo dos cuadras de la plaza principal. Como sugerencias : falta neverita y cajilla de seguridad en el cuarto; ampliar el horario de la piscina en la noche. No olvidar el suministro de gas para poder encender la chimenea del cuarto si se solicita. Las puertas deberían tener un sistema para no tener que cerrarlas tan duro desde fuera.
