Great stay at Kurumba Maldives
Great stay. The staff picks you up at the airport and takes you to the resort by boat (10 minutes). Super friendly staff through the whole stay. The was good, clean resort and friendly and effective housekeeping. Great snorkling arount the island. I would recommend the sandbank excursion and stingray safari.

By the end of the year, we want to thank wonderful people we et this summer. If you want to go to a peaceful, beautiful place with sincerly, friendly people-go to Maldives. And if you want to start vacation 1 hour getting of a plane-go to KURUMBA! Clean , cozy , well kept tropical island with wonderful beaches and carring staff. Alyona at the reseption helped us to find the bungalow fitt us perfectly-sea view, flowers by the terrasse, privacy and a small lagoon, felt like we had it all for ourselves. Zaeem took verry good care of us at our place, we are so impressed by his energy and kindness. Meals at Kurumba were tasteful , plentyfull of choises and delightful thanks to staff at the kitchen like Mr. Kalum - fish chef, what a magican with a wonderful smile! Spesial thanks to Aseela and Shamil who create a pleasent atmosphere during the dining. We were served by a young crew: always smiling , caring and they remembered all our «perks and likes» after couple of meals. Spesial thanks to Hassan, Shimal, Rupa and Faudi. Aproximity to Male gives you choises of different artists and good evening entertainment at the bar, smoothly run by Mr. Hillary and his crew. Spesial thanks to a wonderful girl from Nepal -PROSHANSA, she made us feel so welcomed and at ease.We meet her at our stay at Velingandoo. But this time it feelt like meeting a good friend allover again. LOVELY and Saeed took good care of us at the pool. Upon all we thank everybody for good vacation .

Fantastisk flott resort - kort vei fra flyplassen!
Kurumba er den eldste resorten på Maldivene, men ble totalrenovert i 2007. Stedet ligger kun 10 min med båt fra flyplassen. Her kaster man ikke bort dyrebar tid med ekstra overnattinger og ytterligere flyturer! Servicen var fantastisk. Alltid hyggelig og profesjonell, men aldri påtrengende. Vi hadde en bungalow på stranden, standarden var meget god. Egne solsenger i vannkanten. Stedet har flere restauranter, vi prøvde bare noen. Maten var god, selv om prisene var litt høyere enn forventet. Det ligger godt over norsk nivå! Kurumba tilbyr også en rekke aktiviteter, fra gratis snorklekurs og bruk av kano til dyre utflukter og utleie av vannscooter. Det er 3 tennsibaner på øya og et eget aktivitetsområde for barn.

Vi tilbrakte 8 netter på Kurumba, og hele opplevelsen var fantastisk. Herlig bungalow få meter fra en nydelig strand, utrolig hyggelig betjening og knallgod mat! Kan anbefales på det sterkeste!

Fantastisk Resort
Var på Kurumba Resort i 10 dager med familien, og må si at det var en fantastisk opplevelse. Øya var nydelig og passe stor. Fasilitetene var veldig bra. Hadde tatt med tennis rackerter og snorkle utstyr, da jeg ofte er skepsis til kvaliteten på utstyret man får lånt på slike hoteller, men utstyret på hoteller var av topp kvalitet, uten kostnad. En stor fordel var beliggenheten på øya. Det var kun 10 min med båt fra flyplassen, en stor fordel for barnefamilier. Maten på Kurumba var også bra med et godt spekter av forskjellige mat opplevelser. Highly recommended.

Veldig bra hotel og hyggelige ansatte,men jeg setter et spørsmålstegn ved prisnivået. Jeg reiser til en øy og et hotel, men jeg regner jo med at jeg kan kjøpe meg en pølse/hamburger og en brus/øl midt på dagen uten å måtte sette meg ned på en resturant og betale i dyre dommer, det var ikke mulig. Var du lokket til øya så måtte du versegod betale. 1 flaske vann 2,5 dollar. Kjøpte 4 flasker vann på Male, betalte med 1 dollar og fikk penger igjen! 10 ganger over lokal pris synes jeg er litt i overkant. PS vi fikk så mye vann på rommet som vi hadde behov for så det var jo meget bra. Jeg storkoste meg på øya men men samtidig så iriterte jeg meg på grådigheten, når en vet va de annsatte får betalt.

Kurumba Maldives was an absolute dream. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was sensational. Considering I am someone who doesn’t like sun, sea and sand holidays, I would go back tomorrow. The most incredible destination and resort.

The resort itself was good but was tainted by the almost constant sound of aeroplanes and seaplanes taking off or flying over. Unfortunately, this and the view of Male airport and port (large, unsightly ships!), spoilt the idea of a desert island. The main bar staff were lovely, especially Ameed, April and Noy. They were very friendly and professional. As for housekeeping, we had to ask for them to visit one day and on another occasion, our bed wasn’t made. Food was good in the restaurants and the buffet food was reasonable.

Struttura eccellente sotto tutti i punti di vista. Camere, cibo, drinks e pulizia. Personale sempre sorridente e disponibile ad aiutare. Barriera che sta rinascendo con molti più coralli e tantissimi pesci. Soprattutto fruibile in autonomia con corde di aiuto a chi avesse timore. Laguna molto bella e anche chi non nuota può vedere i pesci. E poi a 10 minuti dall’aeroporto e ciò significa che dopo un lungo viaggio a tempo breve si può fare già il bagno.

The staff at Kurumba are the absolute best. I don't know what their training program is like, but every SINGLE staff member is out of their way kind and nice, and genuinely there to make sure your stay is amazing! The food was great, facilities, getting there, etc... Top notch!

Older resort, but has been well maintained and refurbished so doesn’t feel too out of date. Grounds very well kept, good selection of dining options for resort of its size. Some views can be a bit ugly given proximity to Male… but fine if your room is on the right side of island. Staff were great and helpful overall.

Kurumba is a gorgeous resort conveniently close to the international airport in Malé and offering the best in service, stunning scenery, gorgeous beaches and lagoon where tropical fish swim alongside you. The staff were incredible and kind and the amenities, restaurants and our room could not have been more perfect. Even when the resort must have been busy with guests we always felt as though we had it to ourselves. Quiet and romantic. I cannot recommend Kurumba Maldives highly enough.

We returned to Karumba to celebrate our 25th anniversary. It is still beautiful as we remembered it but they have not stood still, with updated, very comfortable accommodation, fantastic dining options with superb wine to accompany the delicious food. Loved it, see you in another 25.

Nice property, the staff were very pleasant. The general quality of the food was not great, though after informing staff they specifically cooked my meals which was appreciated. Food is expensive, drink is expensive, $6 dollars for a 260ml of regular cola is too much. There is no alternative to what’s on the Island. If they want to charge those price the quality of the food needs to be good.

I want to take the time to address a very unpleasant experience that I encountered during my time at Kurumba. My fiancé and I had visited Kurumba from April 6th to April 10th of this year. When we previously visited Kurumba in 2022, we had the best time and it was the reason why we came back this year as well. I want to point out that Maldives consists of many beautiful and exotic islands and other options as well that we could have chosen, that could have also been cheaper. Regardless of knowing that, our heart was set on Kurumba. We paid the heavy prices of staying at Kurumba only to leave with the most embarrassing time. On April 9th, my fiancé and I had visited the outside bar that is located in front of the room 173, we wanted to have a couple of drinks and have a great time on the beach. The bar server's name was Pinka I believe, upon arriving at the bar we noticed that he was not welcoming at all. I decided to order a Pina Colada, and told him that I want it to be sweet. He replies back and states "It is already a sweet drink". I disregarded his comment, we got our drinks and went into the water. We came back for another drink and again I ordered a Pina Colada and told him that I would like extra coconut cream, he replies back and states "Coconut cream has a lot of sweet and fats which you shouldn't be drinking, you should be drinking less sweets" while stating this he was looking at my body and indicating that I am fat and lecturing me about my body weight

1. Less than 15 mins via easy boat transfer from the main airport, which is fantastic after longhaul travel with small children. 2. Beautiful small island exclusive to the resort with wonderful beaches all around. Lots of space so that, even when fully booked, the beach is never croweded. 3. Friendly and efficient staff who get things done with no fuss. Houskeeeping and gardening staff are really effective and do and exceptional job in the background. Front staff offer excellent suggestions on requests to make most of the stay. Snorkeling gear is available for use at no cost. 4. Fantastic gardens throughout the island. The staff really care for the plants and trees, making it truly feel like a tropical paradise. 5. We stayed in a Beach Villa, which had all we need for a luxury stay, with a private pool, outdoor shower. 6. The main buffet restuarant was generally okay, typical of big resorts, with friendly staff. There are other bettwr dining options if you want variety, but at added cost and some pre planning. Note: Be mindful that, being an island close to the main city, some rooms have a 'city view' of the developing Male, making it feel less like postcard Maldives. The staff are helpful to make sure you book the right room for you. You will also hear the buzz of departing aircraft big and small. Just ignore it if your can. For us, the convenience of proximity to the airport, the beauty of the island, bungalow and staff outweighed these not so great bits.

The closest island to the main airport and only 10min by boat to the island from the airport. Tranquil and beautifully presented island, which staff take care of daily. Staff have been well treated - as some staff have been there for 30 yrs. If you want peace you can have that, if you want to interact with other humans you can too. Varied and diverse dinning options - perfect

Très proche de l’aéroport ce qui est pratique quand on arrive tard mais la vue de l’hôtel est gâchée et il y’a trop de bruit

性价比非常高
这是第二次入住库鲁巴度假村，第一次还是8年前。 总的印象变化不大，房间设施有一点陈旧了，但并不影响整体舒适性，而且白天大部分时间也不会待在房间里。 重要的是附近有很赞的水肺潜水点，同时库鲁巴度假村本身的房礁也是浮潜超棒的地点，从早上十点到下午两三点完全可以沉浸在浮潜的乐趣中，搜寻鹰燕鳐和黑鳍礁鲨等大型鱼类。 餐厅的选择也很丰富，只是旺季太难预订5家特色餐厅了。Cafe的菜单选择有些局限，口味算不错。 总之，考虑到房价，库鲁巴绝对是性价比很高的度假村了。

Notre séjour était excellent Nous avons passé une nuit et deux jours de rêve. J'ai eu droit à un gâteau d'anniversaire Le personnel est très sympa Je cite Humeidh Mohamed (housekeeper service) Leyla la réceptionniste Mahmoud le cuisiniste qui nous a préparé des omelletes et un excellent repas arabe le soir .
