A great property. Our only wish was that they had rooms available with King beds other than that an excellent hotel.

Location is good, staff is friendly, rooms are laid out well. Furniture and furnishings aren’t quite as nice as other hotels in the price range I’ve stayed in. Beds are on the firm side. Did not receive any cleaning or maid services during my 3 night stay. Only hotel I have ever stayed in that requires you to wash your own dishes or pay a $150 fee for any unwashed dishes - felt a bit like an Airbnb cleaning fee to me.

Love the 2 bedroom suite. Very spacious and clean. The outdoor area provides enough space for my German Shepherd to roam around. Walkable distance to the Fishman wharf and the Parliament House but it is located in a quiet area. Would love to stay here again next time.

It was very nice and had a very well organized check-in. My only complaint is that the room was quite stuffy with no A/C.

Good Location, everything in a walkable distance. Nice amenities, room mostly clean (except the floor). Had a semi-negative experience with check-in. We arrived 5 hours early and asked for an early check-in. We had two small kids with us. We were told that we will get a text message if the room is ready earlier. But they simply did not send any messages although later we learned that the room was ready around 2pm (regular check-in was at 4pm) and we had to wait until 4pm to be able to enter it. These kind of details make the difference between good and excellent hotels.

We like the Oswego’s boutique style in this quiet neighborhood James Bay location! You can park the car in the garage and walk all around the beautiful Victoria area.

The Oswego Hotel was a short walk from the ferry! The room was gorgeous! I honestly wasn't expecting the room to be as nice as it was- Private balcony, kitchenette, and the bathroom was huge with a stunning view of the Habor. The photos of the room listed on site does not do it justice at all. The bed was very comfortable too- really loved the pillows. Esthetically, loved the room- everything from the radio playing light music for greeting to the little tissue stamp on the toilet paper lol The staff was friendly and accommodating- especially the ladies at the front desk. Will stay again!

Great stay. Only complaint was kitchen cabinets and interiors looked like they needed a deep clean. Everywhere else was clean though. Staff friendly and great location.

The carpet was stained very badly all throughout. Absolutely filthy and needs replacing. Some of the furniture isvery worn and needs replacing. Theroom has no AC so it gets very hot. Only option is to open patio door.

Thank you for taking the time to share some honest feedback with us, Danielle. I firmly believe that feedback is roadmap to bigger and better things. After reviewing your feedback, I did some investigating and found that the carpet in the suite certainly has seen better days. I have arranged for our maintenance team to do a refresh on that suite so we can improve the experience for everyone moving forward. As a part of our Green Initiative, we have chosen not to have air conditioning in any of our suites. Instead, we have implimented other cooling methods, like drapery, and fans as more ecofriendly cooling methods. We hope to have the oportunity to welcome you back another time!

Loved this hotel! I’m from victoria and grew up in James Bay so i wanted to stay at a hotel close to my old home and the Oswego hotel was perfect, loved that there was a full kitchen so i could make my own breakfast in the mornings. And it’s close to downtown and the inner harbour which is perfect :) Would definitely stay here again! And the lady at checkin was very friendly!

Our suite was very spacious, clean and quiet. Very nice staff. Very walkable to everywhere as well. Not to far of a walk to downtown. Lots of restaurant options downtown and shopping.
