It was half the price of other places nearby, is directly above an excellent bar and diner. Easy access to anything you can think of, and you can see the harbour from the lobby.

Overall I am happy with the hotel. The only downside is the parking. The hotel only have limited reserved parking for patrons. The parking area also share with the restaurant. It is hard to find parking during busy weekends after 5:00 p.m.

Great location. Quiet and clean. Fun restaurant, especially to watch hockey playoffs. Only negative would be no fan in the bathroom, gets quite muggy in there when showering.

The hotel is older - and it shows. They were renovating the exterior when we were there and we could hear "construction sounds" even quite late at night. But the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the harbour views were great. Loved that we could open our window and hear the lively harbour sounds. People, boats and birds. The on-site restaurant was very convenient, but pricy and the servings are too large. (Think "sharing") We would consider staying here again.

Our room was clean and comfortable, and the location is wonderful! Parking for our large truck was easy, and we were able to walk everywhere. The only drawback is that there is no air conditioning. However the windows can be opened and a fan was provided. We will definitely return in cooler weather.

We have returned many times. Still recommended. Good value, great location and always friendly with a great bar downstairs for the final nightcap.

The room was very warm and there was no air conditioning. The owners should purchase portable air conditioners to allow gusts to get a good night sleep. I left my window open all night and was woken up by several large trucks picking up garbage and bringing in food supplies, etc.

Location was excellent despite local construction going on. Staff were very pleasant. Only real complaint was the room design with a 6inch step required to access the bathroom in harbour view room. And it was weird that you couldn’t sit and look out the window because it was too high. These were quite inconvenient when traveling with an elderly person.

Harbour view room window is too high to sit and look out. There’s a treacherous step up into the bathroom. Not good for elderly people.

I booked this hotel for my boss as our usual place didn't have accommodation at time of booking. The only positive thing my boss said was the view was nice (harbor view room). That was after he called me to say someone, apparently a hotel worker, just walked into his room without notice or even knocking. I would say the place is clean as I was told the whole hotel stunk of bleach. He said more but I'd rather not repeat it.

The hotel is an older hotel kept in good shape. The hotel is getting a new roof and fixing the outer walls. Was warned it would be noisy but I found it quiet during the night. I was out all day so didn't notice any noise. Room was clean and quiet. I faced the harbor so had a nice view. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. I enjoyed my stay very much.

The renovation have improved the hotel. No air-conditioning in rooms. They do supply a fan in the room. Elevator needs to be fixed, as it jerks when it stops.

Well loved waking up to the noise of the harbour. The sunny room large and airy room. And the view is beautiful Free coffee was great. We did get a surprise when construction guys walked by our window without anyone giving us a heads up..we were in 201. And there is no fan in the bathroom and we noticed that the paint bubbled in there. But all in all would definitely go there again.

Good location. The advertising of the actual hotel and harbour view was not realistic. The room was very small, the barroom was very small , one could hardly close the door. There was no fan in the bathroom. Music was fairy pound at 7:30 am on Saturday morning. . A little disappointing.

The room was a bit odd. Shower curtain far too close and would stick to me while showering. Step up into the bathroom was a bit tricky at night. Elevator was extremely small, hard to fit two of us with luggage. The location was absolutely perfect! Easy to get around. Great view of the harbour.
