Beautiful Location with wonderful hosts!
My parents stayed with Doug and Rick for just under 2 weeks. They were kind, caring and thoughtful! The suite was beautiful and the view even better! Thanks for showing my folks a great time!

Had a nice stay.
Nice self contained unit, comfortable, clean. Hosts were wonderful. Awesome view from the top of the hill, deer was visible. Lovely stay.

Large, well equipped suite with a beautiful view. Doug and Rick were accomidating and respectful. Their dogs were dogs were friendly and adorable:) I highly recommend staying here.

In Appreciation of the Personal Touch
We appreciated that Doug personally taking us on a tour of their property and VRBO suite, even showing us how to use a few things and letting us know that we can reach out if we needed anything. Their roasted coffee was also a great touch and welcome on our early mornings. Their dogs were lovely with our dog, and it's always great to be in the company of others who appreciate our canine friends. Thanks for a great stay!

Comfortable stay in Colwood
We stayed here for a week on a holiday. The hosts were great. Once they showed us around we had privacy. If we needed anything they were just a text away. The unit had everything we needed for a comfortable stay but we especially loved the large deck, comfortable loungers, beautiful view and very quiet. We would totally recommend this spot. Wonderful hidden retreat
This was a delightful location to stay in. Very private and surrounded by trees and natural scenic beauty. Very tranquil and relaxing and the suite had a wonderful layout. Hosts were very gracious and friendly. Dogs will mannered. The whole experience was fantastic.

Get away is perfect
Enjoyed our stay was surprised how much snow was there. We would like to see that view in fall season would be beautiful. Was breathtaking with the snow as well. Hosts were great their dogs were beautiful. I loved the fact that they had everything we needed as no stores available. Very well thought out friendly will return when we can. Very nice accommodations for a short stay.
The unit had everything we needed for a very short stay while my hubby was in a soccer tourney in nearby Langford. Clean & well equipped. Spent an evening on the swing on the deck enjoying the view with a glass of wine!

This was a lovely little get away spot. View was spectacular. Really enjoyed it and so clean.
A great experience. Excellent hosts and their dogs were so sweet. It is so peaceful and tranquil. Worth the drive up the long hill to get there. We recommend it.

A very nice and quiet suite with stunning view of a small lake and breathtaking mountains from largo patio with swing Owner greeted us with 2 very friendly guard dogs and showed the spacious suit with a bed room and living room with private bath, kitchen and AC. My wife and I were quite happy with our stay over the weekend and would definitely stay again.

An exceptional stay!
We atayed at blue sky retreat with our dog and cat for one night. The location was just stunning. From your suite you could see all the way to port angeles with lookout lake just below you. We saw eagles, deer, lots of birds during our short stay here. The area is within a 5 minute drive to all the boxed stores with almost every grocery store represented. Dining is also 5 minutes away although we opted to order in and enjoy our dinner on the beautiful balcony (complete with a swing) The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in, the internet super fast and 1000s of tv shows and movies are available on demand. The hosts provided their HOME ROASTED coffee, cream and snacks. In addition, charging cables for your cell phones were provided- All the little touches that makes this place special. Doug and Rick were friendly and welcoming and available for any questions. They also have two large beautiful dogs who we enjoyed playing with. A must stay if you are in the area…. Kaelan
