Cabin retreat in the Bitterroot Mountains. Sleeps 10

Come relax in our beautiful forest cabin nestled in the Bitterroot Mountains while enjoying the views of the Bitterroot Valley and Sapphire Mountains. This home is spacious with three floors to accommodate 10 people. Beautiful windows throughout the entire property allows for the scenery to be right at your fingertips. The main floor has a large kitchen perfect for entertaining guests and connected to the back patio for extended living and dining space. The oversized living room has vaulted ceilings with windows to showcase the stunning views. The Master bedroom has a king sized bed that offers views throughout the French doors to the back patio. The master ensuite bathroom is large and multi-functional with a jetted tub or walk-in shower. The large butler pantry connected to the kitchen houses the washer and dryer for easy main floor access across from the powder bathroom.

The upper floor has a loft which looks through the large windows opposite. Two bedrooms each have a queen bed. There is an ensuite full bathroom. The loft has a sleeper sofa for additional sleeping space.

The basement has a media area with a large lounging sofa with ottoman for extra comfort. The sliding doors offer views and easy access to the backyard. There is a bedroom that has a queen bed and sliding doors to the exterior for lots of natural light. There is a full bathroom in the basement.

The back deck spans the back of the house with incredible views. There is a grill on the back patio with extra seating and tables for extended living. There are stairs with a gate that leads to the backyard.

Beautiful, but could have been cleaned.
Upon checkin the house appeared to not have been occupied for some time as there were dead flies, crickets, etc all throughout the house and even in the downstairs bed, and a dead dried up bird was in the fireplace. Several exposed diabetic needles were also found. I informed the property manager, but was unable to resolve the issue (I requested they wave our cleaning fee). After cleaning & warming up the house (it was 62⁰F) the rest of our stay was very enjoyable. The house has beautiful views, is very spacious, and had everything we needed while we were there. Upon check out there was some confusion as the binder at the house is not in alignment with the instructions we were given in a message from the property managment group through the VRBO app, but we were able to clarify them quickly.

Very comfortable, beautiful views
We had a great time at the property. Very clean and comfortable. The property is well stocked with essentials, and it's clear when other guests leave un-opened groceries they are there in good condition should you need them (coffee, a jar of salsa or soup, etc). We were a party of 3 couples and had plenty of room to gather as well as split off for quiet time if needed. The view from the back deck is priceless, the mattresses are comfortable, the appliances are top notch, the furniture is clean and comfortable, and the location in the valley is great. We had a great time.

Lovely Views of The Sapphire Mountains
Beautifully appointed home with all the modern conveniences. Smooth check-in/check-out. When there was no hot water, a technician was promptly sent. When the AC went out, thank goodness my son-in-law is in the business, because he fixed it. Only one of the bedrooms had night tables for lamps and dressers. However, we were told they were on order. The upstairs loft bedrooms only have 1 AC vent each, so could use some fans. The trash pickup instructions are confusing. These were irritants, not show stoppers, but show that this place is still a work in progress. These comments are offered as constructive criticisms. It's such a lovely home we would consider staying here again.

Private Lodge… Everything and more
Nothing I can say can really explain the beauty of Montana and Ravalli County. What makes visiting Montana even better is the Lodge/home we stayed on our trip. The home has everything you could want and more. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the appliances uou coiuld want.. even a pizza oven. The home is full of extras. If the property is available. Do yourself a favor and book it.
