Do NOT believe this hotel when they say that some of there rooms are “ocean view”! Ha! The pictures lie! It shows this huge ocean view in the pictures but there is no ocean view! All of the trees have grown to block the ocean view! This hotel is only 3 levels high and doesn’t show any ocean! AND them claiming they have “private direct beach access”?! Lies! The area is blocked off by the city due to beach erosion from the past hurricane and the beach has not recovered. The closest access is a mile down the road and the entire beach has erosion in that area so the beach is not enjoyable in the least. And I don’t understand why they also claim they are on a private island?! It’s not! When getting off the freeway you drive thru the hood for about 4 miles until you reach the hotel. All of the cheaper fast food restaurants are in the hood 4 miles from hotel! The only restaurants around the hotel are expensive bar and grills. Now let’s get to the age of this hotel, she’s older and the pictures online do not show this. To get in our room we had to literally body slam the door each time to get it to open due to it sticking and the age! Mold stains on the ceiling from what I’m guessing is water damage! The one positive review they get out of me is this, your housekeepers these women are keeping your hotel open I promise you that. Because the beds and floors and bathroom were immaculately clean because you could tell someone actually detail cleaned them.
