Staff was great but the room needs help. If you are given Room 200--run!
The door was broken--you need to kick it to get in (frankly anybody could kick it in with or without a key); The balcony door was broken and didn't lock: the toilet paper roll was broken. For the life of me I could not figure out how to turn on the light in the bathroom.
To be fair I did book it like 10 minutes beforeI arrived so it is possible they were full to capacity and had to accomodate me with a good dose of squalor.
To the staffs credit the room was very clean, but to be clear this is not a hotell or an Inn, it is a dated hotel and it is not on the beach.
The beach is across a small public road, down a quay, past a couple restaurant/bars and the beach is closed anyway due to storm erosion. So you can sit on benches in a little municiipal park behind a retaining wall of sharp rocks while planning your jaunt to other public beaches, which are numerous.
