Our room was clean and we did get to check in early however that was not the issue. We booked through Expedia and no where on that site did it state construction was going on. We found out when we got there. Booked an ocean view which was not cheap and we had nothing but scaffolding in front of our balcony which made the view even worse as we were towards the back of the building overlooking a parking garage. I would also like to state that the photos shown on the website looked a lot nicer than the hotel appeared. When we tried to eat at Aqua Beachfront Bar we sat down and waited almost 15mins before we ended up leaving and going somewhere else off property because no one waited on us or even acknowledged we were there even though others were eating around us. Overall we feel like we were misled in activities and view from our room. We do not plan to return and hope that you update your website and make sure your third party booking sites let others know that construction is happening.
