Located just five houses from Pierpont Beach, this 1BR duplex is perfect for a restorative beach getaway. Wake up in the morning and walk 200 feet to the beach. Spend the day catching some rays, then come home to relax and watch the sunset on the balcony with ocean views. This prime location is one block to the shops and restaurants on Seaward Avenue. You're less than a mile from Marina Park with 15 acres of recreational area, including a playground and volleyball courts. Looking for a fun-filled day trip? Head to Ojai (17 mi) and Santa Barbara (29 mi) - both promising gorgeous scenery along the way.

Beach chic decor is sprinkled throughout this comfortable rental. Kick back and watch your favorite shows on the 32in TV. Create tasty dishes in the well-equipped kitchen, which includes a double sink and gas stove. Helpful kitchen gadgets include a toaster and microwave.
When you're ready to eat, gather at the dining table with seating for four. Sleep soundly on a new plush queen-size bed. A 32in TV offers easy entertainment. The bathroom features a tub/shower combination as well as a starter supply of toiletries and bath amenities for your convenience. Enjoy the ocean breeze and view from the private balcony with seating for four.

Ventura getaway

We really enjoyed our stay over the weekend. The house was perfect. Super clean. Right by the ocean. At night you can hear the ocean. The only thing was when we got there, there was a lock on the gate that needed a code to open. I was able to call the property manager and they provided me the code within minutes. I will be coming to Ventura in the next couple of months and will stay here again if possible

Cozy beach stay

This was a great duplex!! It was steps to the sandy beach. I enjoyed my stay, although I was in contact with the host everyday due to NO TV. So if you like a little tv to unwind, make sure they fixed the tv. I say if it’s not working, do not list it as a feature. This was 3 days of messages back and forth with no success. Thankfully I have family nearby and I was able to walk on the beach twice a day.

Great location. Beach, Spasso Italian, Social Tap, Thai, and Duke’s all a stones throw from the patio. Lovely place for family getaway.

Perfect location

We wanted to be steps from the sand, and this fit the bill! We loaded our beach wagon each day with our chairs and ice chest and walked the few steps to the sand. The unit is cozy and simply furnished, but it's comfortable and everything was in working order. A few fans strategically placed in front of windows made it easy to regulate the temperature. We loved being so close to the restaurants on Seaward (Pierpont Tacos was delish!) The listing says "new, plush" queen bed, and this did not seem new or plush, but I know we all have different mattress preferences. We like our memory foam at home, so it's hard to find one we like in rentals.

Amazing location but horrible bed.

Amazing location! It was great to walk to beaches and restaurants. You are in the middle of beach life. Such a great location. The restaurants nearby give you a great variety of food choices and are so easy to walk to. There is even an ice cream place and a juice spot. A grocery store and a Starbucks are within walking distance as well. Of course, the best part was the beach is 5 houses down! Great deck to see the ocean and the side patio was great for the dog. The only downfall is the bed was probably the most uncomfortable bed I've slept on in years. We had the worst sleep and woke up with aches and pains every morning. You can feel the springs poking through the mattress. Vacasa is the property management company for this location. They are known for furnishing the units they manage so they are most likely the reason for the horrible bed and minimal furnishings. They are a horrible management company and I'm sure the owner of the home will realize this soon enough. I want to stay here again soon, but I don't know if I can get past the bed situation.

Location location location

It took us 45-60min to actually enter the property. We were sent code to open front door, but did not receive a padlock code to access gate. Tried text process but never received responses. Tried calling phone number and was on hold 20+min and hung up. Tried texting again but no response. Ultimately called phone number again and waited another 15-20min before a guy answered with his dogs barking in the background. He provided the four digit padlock code to get in. After that we had a great time.

Great beach house

This cute house has that beach vibe we love. Ventura is a charming town and the property is in a great location. The bathroom and kitchen are "old school", but were in good condition, and it added to the ambiance of the place. We wish we had stayed longer!

Close to beach but also lots of foot traffic, noise

This property is directly behind a popular restaurant, the Lucky Thai. There is a lot of foot traffic and one morning trucks to service the restaurant and garbage trucks woke me up really, really early. Be prepared. The bungalow is close to the beach but kitchen and bathroom are very small and cramped. The toilet and toilet cleaning tools were disgusting and both should be replaced. The toilet does not flush solid waste down the toilet and needs to be flushed several times, we are in a water shortage!! I wouldn’t stay there again, for what you get it is really pricey. Oh, and the guest is supposed to take out the garbage barrels and bring them back in, really?

Perfect all around

All the years going to California, we never thought that the exit to Ventura, would reveal such a perfect little beach town. The location of the condo is perfect. The space is Very clean, quaint and cozy. We could hear the ocean when we would go to sleep at night, which is the best! We definitely look forward to another stay at this perfect little piece of Paradise❤️

Perfect for a couple

This is a cute little beach house. Perfect for a little get away for a couple. It’s an older house but very clean and nicely decorated. Very close to the beach. The kitchen is well enough stocked for light cooking. We appreciate the brita pitcher in the fridge so we didn’t need to buy water bottles. We would stay here again.

Great stay in Ventura

Turnkey communicated clearly and accurately all info about the rental. The place was perfect for two, with a nice deck and obstructed views of the beach. Kitchen was well equipped, bed was comfortable. You can see the beach and waves rolling in on the jetty from the dining table. Sunsets were fabulous! Walk to the beach was short and easy. There is a hose to rinse the sand off before going into the house. Garage is full of beach toys - paddleboard, kayak, boogie boards, beach chairs, bikes with helmets. There are also board games & DVDs in the garage. There are several restaurants within 1 to 2 blocks. We had a good meal at Spasso as well as Social Tap. We highly recommend staying here

A Refreshing Retreat

The home was very clean and everything was in good working order. There were plenty of outlets, a plus for electronics. The location was perfect! It was a block from the sand and the many restaurants were steps away.

Cute, comfortable place, small, perfect for 2 people. Fixtures could use an update. Perfect location, only steps from the beach. Communication with rental management was excellent. Within walking distant of several restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location, poor property management

Property: 4 stars. Owner: 5 stars. Turnkey: 1 star. Great location near the beach, as well as places to eat/drink. Things to keep in mind: the wifi is very poor, the shower and toilet is very cramped for anyone over 5'10". Turnkey did a very poor job of managing the property. The oven went out during our stay. 2 different people from Turnkey told us we would receive a partial refund for the days without an over, that never happened. Turnkey initially asked us to place the trash bins on the street, but due to the shared trash bins with the lower unit we could not move the bins because the other tenants car blocked the gate. Instead of taking care of it, Turnkey let the trash bins go unemptied for weeks until I complained. The parking is very tight, and if the tenants in the lower unit don't stay in their spot there is not enough room to parallel park in the single spot. One evening I returned to the unit to find the spot blocked. I send Turnkey a message at 5:30 asking them to tell the other tenants to move their car. at 6:15 I received a response telling me that because it was after 6pm, they would not be addressing my issue until noon the following day. The owner of the property is great. I wish he would just manage it himself.

Beach Stay

Property was very simple and comfortable. Close to ocean. Across from the back of a restaurant, and pretty close to the Ventura pier and promenade. We met the owner while we were there, and he was an extremely kind and considerate person. The space itself was ok. Mostly clean, but the windows were quite dirty and we found a couple of items left behind when we arrived, like a wrapper of some kind on the floor and a pill- maybe an allergy pill or something- on the floor of the bathroom. There was only one very small garbage bag in the the trash can when we arrived for a 6 night, 7 day trip, and no replacements. Same with toilet paper and paper towels. When we asked, they said we had to supply our own, which seemed like an unnecessary inconvenience for us. Based on the price of the rental, we felt there should have been at least enough provided for the length of our stay. Internet was terrible for the first 36 hours, but eventually someone came and reset the router and it was much better, though still a little spotty. Amazon fire stick would cut out often as well. Mandalay beach nearby in Oxnard was the highlight of our trip! Overall we enjoyed ourselves.

Great week escape to Ventura, a wonderful laid back beach town

The condo was comfortable, clean, and nicely furnished. There was a view of the ocean from the balcony and we could hear the ocean waves at night. We enjoyed to cool, clean ocean air--and our two dogs loved it even more than us. A totally dog friendly property. They also have lots of supplies available--two nice bikes and helmets, kayaks, and lots of beach gear--chairs, umbrellas, etc. And a fantastic BBQ, although we did not use it, but should have! We also loved how laid back Ventura is--lots to enjoy, no attitude, nice. We look forward to coming back again, thanks, Cathy

Great Place Within Arms Reach of LA

Wanted to escape the current pandemic in LA , and unlike most property listings on VRBO, Airbnb, etc., this property addressed what changes they made to follow CDC guidelines. Felt very comfortable with the information around the professional cleaning services. Outside of that, the location is unbeatable. literally seconds away from the beachfront + the boardwalk is a few blocks away (which was nice for us since that meant less foot traffic in the area + beach access). Cute place and would stay here again!
