Great Stay in Urbana
We were in Urbana for a short overnight stay but it was very nice. Downtown Urbana was just a block or two away and lots of options for dinner. The host was quick to respond with any questions we had before we arrived.

Good little bungalow!
Great little bungalow. Back yard very dark. We were traveling with our dogs so that was not ideal. We had our own flashlights. But there was a skunk and and a cat around so having an illuminated yard would have been nice. Also back gate not super secure. We bungeed it shut for peace of mind. We loved the house though and would rent it again!

Great location and terrific backyard!
Bryce was the perfect host, friendly and helpful, and we FELL IN LOVE with Urbana. (We went to the Champaign Berry Farm 3 days in a row and went home with lots of sweet corn and berries, Hotheads twice, and had a fancy dinner at Cafe Paradiso one night.) Be sure to hit Yutzy's Cheese House at least once before you leave. The backyard was terrific and perfectly fenced for a pet; our beloved little Houdini dog couldn't find anywhere to escape LOL. The wet room took a little getting used to (remove the TP roll before you shower!), but we got the hang of it right away. Amazing new washer and dryer. Located close to post office, restaurants, and the charming downtown. We'll be back!

Lovely visit
Excellent appliances, comfy bed. Enjoyed the yard and fire pit. Never been to Urbana before but what a nice town. People everywhere very friendly and felt safe. People out walking in neighborhoods til late with no concern. Would stay again for sure.

Great Place Near Downtown Urbana
Great property perfectly suited to our needs. Very clean & tidy with a nice backyard for kids or small pets. The owner is very responsive to any any communication. Overall we had a great stay & are looking to return again soon.

Quick commute to Springfield.
The bungalow was a good alternative to staying in Springfield on a busy Witt weekend. However, for the price, it needs some more updates. I agree with another reviewer that the window treatments need to offer more Privacy. There are also mattress covers on the market that are not “noisy”. Investing in those would be worth the the money. The front screen door needs addressed as it would not close. There is also not central air, although the window units did suffice. Small improvements would make a huge impact. A deep clean including windows is needed as well.

We enjoyed our stay. Nice to see kitchen with everything there, and a few freebies in the fridge. Fenced back yard was a definite plus for our dogs.

Home away from home

Hilltop House
Overall the description was accurate. The only point is that the air conditioning is a unit that sits in the dining room. We arrived in 90 degree weather and it took a long time to cool the house down even with all the ceiling fans running. The ceiling fan in the front bedroom makes a clanging noise that you just have to get used to because it’s the only way to keep the bedroom cool. The bathroom design is very efficient, however I would suggest some hooks on the door to make sure bathrobe/clothes don’t get wet. Overall we had a great stay.

Nice & new inside.
We enjoyed our stay. The house is cute & has a large kitchen with new appliances, although just the basics in utensils. The bathroom is very small, so just be prepared for getting it all wet when showering. Also I do suggest to Bryce to take off the plastic mattress cover over the mattress & buy a nice waterproof soft bed pad that doesn’t crinkle. But that being said, it was quite comfortable. 👍

Work out great for me and the dogs
Love the back yard for dogs and the willingness to accommodate me. The bathroom was a lite small but worked out for my one night stay. The only thing I would change is the window coverings, the curtains were sheer and I did not see any blinds for privacy.
