«Our stay at Dashwood was lovely. It is the perfect location to get all around Victoria quickly. It is next to the ocean / beach and a multipurpose path and across from Beacon Hill park. Dashwood is very charming with many of the original details all modernized over the years. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty and snacks and drinks provided were thoughtful. «Amenity was very extensive, great value for the money. My 700sqft suite felt very comfortable, however we felt some of the finishing and layout is a bit outdated. Amenity within the kitchen was very helpful for us considering dining in the suite instead of spending extra money dining out. »

«This is clearly an aging property that has been brought up to date in the rooms, however, the common areas are showing definite signs that they need some TLC as well. Elevator doors didn't have sensors so any time you took a bag trolley into the elevator the door would crash into it if you didn't have it all the way in. «Staff and facilities were excellent and the room was a good size. The shower was a bit low (height) and water pressure was too high in the shower, no easy way to turn down. Not relaxing, more of an assault with water. Overall stay was good, just shower could be improved. Nobody needs 500L / min flow »

«Stayed for 3 nights in a king room with a dog (was charged an added $20/night upon check in, wasn't included in Expedia price). Such a cool place! Staff was super friendly. The room was soooo cozy and comfortable and roomy. Free bike rental super easy and bike paths close by. Pool area so fun!
