An important question for me when renting a vacation property is “would I do it again?” The answer for this property is definitely yes.My wife and I, our 3 adult children and their partners, and our 3 ½ year old grandson stayed for 5 nights in September. The house had ample room for all of us including gathering, cooking, sleeping, and baths. The view is gorgeous and was enjoyed by all. We really enjoyed our time at this property with 3 generations spending the Labor Day Holiday. The unassuming and quiet neighborhood give way to a beautifully appointed home with large living space, comfortable bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms, and best of all the beautiful views from the large deck and living room. The kitchen has everything we needed to prepare meals and lots of options for morning beverages.You are just a short walk to Chambers Bay public golf course with lots of trails, playground, and green space leading to the water. Emmy was communicative without being obtrusive and does a nice job of making the place feel like home.We would definitely consider a return with family or friends.

The home is beautiful. The location is amazing, beds are comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the porch enjoying the backyard and wildlife. We had an elderly adult and the ramp and low profile rugs made the main floor easy to navigate. He was very comfortable. My college kids loved the downstairs game room and their separate bathrooms. The bathrooms are wonderful. The living room was comfy and while the sofas were a bit low for our elderly family member, we all enjoyed lounging in that room when we weren’t outside to take advantage of that view.We didn’t cook a lot but we found everything we needed when we did. Labels on switch covers were so helpful. So much helpful communication from the owner. None of us wanted to leave. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Exccellent Place

This house is one of the best we have rented. It was very clean, had all the amenities we needed, plenty of rooms and bathrooms and the view was excellent. We were happy with the location as it was very quiet and easy to get around the Tacoma area. Emmy was very responsive as we only ran into one issue with the hot water heater not functioning correctly. She was able to fix that issue remotely although we did have it happen again the next day. I would definitely recommend staying at this home as we enjoyed our time here.

Lovely large view home where the host has thought of everything you may possibly need. Top notch cleanliness and expertly stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Very nice house, gorgeous view!

We are a group of six adults. The house was perfect. Well stocked with anything you need. The house was perfectly clean and newly remodeled. The kitchen and bathrooms were really nice. We spent most of our time in the living room enjoying the expansive amazing view. We would rent this house again.

Wonderful!

Perfect house and a perfect location. Our family vacation for a wedding was nearby and this house was a good size and nicely spread out. Pictures don’t do the view any justice. Of course that’s a big part of this home is the view the water, chilling on the patio was next level. Serval deer would walk through the bushes in the backyard and lay around. If you have young kids (ours are 3 & 4) there was a perfect park chambers bay right around the corner within walking distance was super nice and walking trail. Nice amenities, kitchen was left well stocked and full-size laundry room nice for longer length stays. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Everything was there that we needed and Emmy, the host, was very attentive and responsive even when we had troubles accessing the front door code she was on top of it right away. Will definitely stay again if we’re in the Tacoma area!

My favourite VRBO stay of all time

10/10 accuracy in the pics and reviews. Add to that the property manager/owner was absolutely incredible in communication and customer service. I hope to stay here once again. There is nothing I would change or request for our visit. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Family Get Together

We had the best time in Tacoma for our yearly family get together. The house is welcoming and comfortable. We loved that pretty much everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom, the playroom downstairs was a huge hit with the little one. Lots of thought has gone into making sure everything has been provided to make your stay comfortable, down to the coffee corner, well stocked kitchen, bathrooms, indoor and outdoor games, umbrellas. There was plenty of room for gathering as well, comfortable couches and outdoor table. The decor is relaxing and makes you feel right at home. Emmy, is an amazing host, great at communicating, responsive, and always making sure you will have the best of stays. This is by far the best house we ever rented.

UPS Graduation weekend

We could not rave about Emmy’s place with any less enthusiasm! A superb location with the most outstanding view of Fox Island and Gig Harbor. An immaculate and well appointed home for small group entertaining and relaxation. We had a home to truly relax between weekend events and ceremonies. We were amazed with the kitchen amenities. Beds were so comfortable. A beautiful walk or run just steps away near Chambers Bay Golf Course. There were a sweet doe and fawn hanging out peacefully in the lawn. Magical. Emmy was welcoming and so responsive! Don’t pass by this opportunity to experience a beautiful Washington home!

Fabulous vacation house

We enjoyed our stay at this house and would happily stay there again. We loved the view of the water, and then it got even better when the weather cleared so that we could see the mountains. The house was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with calming decor throughout. There is off-street parking for multiple vehicles, and even access to the garage (so nice when it was raining). Plenty of restaurants just a short drive away. All in all, it was a wonderful, relaxing place to stay.
