     Ligger rett bak den historiske offiserens rad (John Mellancamp er vår nabo!), denne stille delen av Tybee ligger nær fyret og North Beach.
    Bakkenivå, inngjerdet hage, høye tak og ekstra store vinduer slik at tonnevis av naturlig lys kan helles inn. Dette hjemmet har blitt fullstendig renovert og designet. Hytta tilbyr nå 2 fulle bad og en ekstra "vann skap!"
    Full av kunst fra lokale kunstnere og vintagefunn, komfortable møbler og best av alt den ekstra store verandaen med gyngestoler. Virkelig en sørlig charmer av et hjem! Dette hjemmet er et historisk hjem, og huset har lagt til et ekstra fullt bad for totalt 2 1/2 bad! Enda en unik egenskap i vårt hjem! Dette er halvparten av dupleksen med Enlisted Men's Mess Hall på den andre siden. Begge sidene er stille og har private / separate innganger. Trenger du plass til en stor familie? Lei begge sider!

House with character and great location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Love the large screen porch. Ate lunch and had coffee on it every day. Quiet location with quick “secret” path to beach. Play park for the kidos is right behind it. Good parking driveway close to house. Charcoal grill was a bonus.

Awesome stay

From the point of making the reservation to the entire stay, the people and cottage were excellent. So close to everything (food, lighthouse and beach). Add the history of the cottage.

We really enjoyed staying at Screened Inn. The online description is very accurate, but it doesn't say just how cool the accessories and decorations are in the place. The whole experience felt very authentic to the time frame of the property. We loved the front porch and spent a good bit of time there. The beach access isn't "typical" but walking through the secret passway felt like a grand adventure. Dealing with Mermaid Cottages was the easiest communication with property managers I've ever experienced. They were available on the spot, courteous, helpful and so polite. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to stay again.

The Best One Yet!

Our vacation was very enjoyable, and the property was simply delightful! The folks at Mermaid Cottages were very friendly and helpful. Check-in/out was simple. We loved the Screened Inn house. It was just perfect for us. We are already planning our next stay at Screened Inn in the Spring.

An amazing family trip!

The house was well appointed and in an amazing location both on the island and to get to Savannah and surrounding attractions. The private beach access was amazing. The house was comfortable and we appreciated the historical significance of the property. I could not believe that we had neighbors, it was so quiet. A king size bed in the master would have made for a better night sleep, but the property is pretty much perfect. We would love to visit again! Thank you!

Screened Inn is located on the North end of the island, very close to the beach and the lighthouse. It's a very quiet location, and convenient to everywhere on Tybee Island. The Inn is always spotlessly clean, and the Mermaids are so responsive and helpful. We just love it...
