The Herrons Nest is comfortable, and the neighborhood is quiet and clean. Easy to get a Uber for a jaunt to Savannah. Thank you for a very well hosted stay on Tybee.»

«Overall this place suited our needs for a quick getaway for our family & they accepted our dog!! The duplex is right on a main thoroughfare so traffic stayed heavy until around 11p.m. each night but it wasn't awful. It is close to Tybee & Savannah and all major grocery/pharmacies which was great too. The duplex itself is older but appears taken care of. We would definitely recommend & hopefully stay again in the future as it is so difficult to find a place that takes bigger dogs. Very very clean ...

«We enjoyed our stay here. Don’t expect fancy, expect a clean little bungalow (this is actually a quadplex), which is clearly shown in the picture. This lovely older beach town is a great respite from the development going on in so many beach areas on the coasts now. Lovely wide beaches, not crowded at all when we were there. Location is everything and for a stay on the north side of the island you cannot beat this one. The beach public access is a very short walk which is key. The beach is so private we were alone enjoying the beautiful sunshine and watching cargo ships pass. Savannah is only 25 minutes away and going into town is a straight shot!! We were scheduled to stay 5 days and four night with occupancy of two adults and were only given a total of 4 wash clothes and 4 towels. Only 1 comfortable chair to sit on the deck.
