Upon entering Gwel Y Mynydd you can feel the comfort of this holiday home. Off to the left as you enter is a cosy living room perfect to cuddle up and watch a movie on those cooler and wetter days. Moving through there is the heart of the home, a light, spacious and modern kitchen/diner with everything needed for enjoyable meals and relaxation, including bifold doors to extend the living space outdoors. This room also features a Smart TV and a comfy sofa so in the summer days you can sit with the doors open and the sun on you!
The first floor hosts three well-appointed bedrooms. The master bedroom features a super king bed and an en-suite shower room. The second bedroom offers a king-size bed, while the third bedroom includes bunk beds, providing comfortable sleeping arrangements for both adults and children. A main bathroom with a shower over the bath and essential amenities is also located on this floor.
Gwel Y Mynydd has an enclosed garden with artificial grass and a patio, perfect for enjoying Anglesey's fresh air. The garden is ideal for pets and children to play safely. There is ample parking for two cars at the front of the property and a private EV charger too. Internet is a free amenity, however due to our unique location on Anglesey, we cannot always guarantee its performance or availability. We appreciate your understanding if this service becomes unavailable during your stay, as compensation cannot be offered. Experience the thrill of aviation! During your stay, you might catch the occasional fighter jet display from RAF Valley, a beloved feature of Anglesey. Flights occur on weekdays during working hours. Although jets don't fly directly overhead, sounds can be heard more clearly with open doors or windows. It's part of the local charm and adds to the adventurous spirit of your visit.

Great location. Easy access to great beaches. Nice modern house with all mod cons. Bed linen in need of updating, otherwise all was good. Letting agency, Anglesey Holiday Lettings were particularly good, dealing very quickly with the couple of issues we had on Check-in. Recommended.

Family holiday
Lovely modern home within walking distance of Rhosneigr, the beach and, of course, The Oyster Catcher! Enclosed garden, so perfect for children and the dog. Added bonus for me of being on the flight path for the nearby RAF base. Quiet cul-de-sac and there is a handy Spar shop down the road.

Excellent property in a great location.
Thank you for hosting our stay. The property was immaculately clean when we arrived. The house is a combination of style, functionality and warmth. The location is perfect for a short walk to the beach and to travel around the island. We loved our week here and will most certainly be returning.

Home from Home in Llanfaelog
A very welcoming home, spacious, and flooded with light from the bi-fold doors into the private garden. The house is roomy and full of all the facilities and equipment you'll need while on holiday. It is near to Rhosneigr and an easy drive to anywhere on Ynys Mon. There are 3 good bedrooms, the main with an ensuite and extra large bed. The only issue is the noise from the jets at RAF Falli - but you know to expect this. Me and my daughter had a great week here.

Short break
Nice location near rhosneigr however train runs past the back of the property which is noisy and should be mentioned on the listing. Good parking. Sofa comfortable. Cleanliness was good overall however dog hairs all over the back of one of the cushions presumably from a previous guest. Facilities good however strangely no sponge left to wash up with and no wooden spoons/utensils to use on the hob. This may have been an oversight but should be corrected for future guests.

A lovely house, but could be improved
The big plus points on the property are location, social space, a safe and fully enclosed garden and contemporary decor. We stayed from Monday to Friday and had a really lovely holiday and were incredibly lucky to be blessed with fabulous weather. There were however some issues, the welcome pack of a bottle of sparkling water and Prosecco, was appreciated, but we did expect to find a pint of milk which is pretty standard in holiday rentals. The shower control in the main bathroom was broken and needed replacing (someone did come out to try and fix it, but a complete new unit was required), the oven door was very dirty with fat dribbles so I had to clean it myself. There was no bin in the kitchen, just four boxes under the sink which was very unsatisfactory for the disposal of food waste. We had to ask for extra pillowcases as there was only one pillow allocated per person and the spares hadn't been made. It should be noted that although the property sleeps 6, the settee in the lounge only seats 3 adults and additionally, other than in the bathrooms, there are no mirrors and nowhere to sit to do hair and make-up. Most of these issues could so easily be fixed as its such a nice house and with some tlc it could be great. Sadly because of how it stands at the moment, I would be reluctant to recommend it.
