«Came up for the Kielder Marathon weekend. Cosy cottage which had everything we needed. Comfy bed, powerful hot shower and good kitchen facilities. »

«Lovely quite country location, off-street parking & all the comforts of home. Near train station if public transport is required, however noise from trains was not an issue. 'The stables is ideal for a couple with small kitchen if wanting to cook.»

«Great base to explore the Dales, very well equipped cottage in a very quiet village within easy reach of local pubs, a cafe and superb riverside walks. With a glass of wine, the wood burner lit, and a good book, it is ideal for a restful break. Would not hesitate to return, at any time of year.»

«We try and come to Otterburn once a year as we love the area. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with tableware amd cutlery. The veds were comfy abd the hot tub was amazing. The only thing that frustrated us was the induction hob, we have never used one before so took a lot of getting used to despite reading the instructions several times.will definitely be returning and will have hopefully mastered the use of an induction hob by then!»

«Property was lovely the owners John & Sue are lovely people went there as couple my girlfriend was on crutches and John helped so much to get her in hot tub was very nice of them . Place has everything you need all kitchen items and very clean tidy would definitely recommend and will be revisiting in near future and surrounding area are fantastic»

«First time away with our dog and could not have picked a better place. Anne(owner/host) very welcoming and cannot do enough for you. Plenty of logs for the fire, bottle of wine, fresh eggs, caramel shortcake what a welcome package, don’t think you would get this type of welcome from many places. The lodge was lovely, all the amenities you could need and more, plenty of fresh towels and bedding, the view from the living room was amazing. I found the whole place and surroundings so peaceful even ...

«Lovely comfortable cottage with a fabulous view from the lounge balcony with afternoon and evening sun. No personal touch or welcome gift. Front yard full of weeds and plants blocking light into two snug windows. Would have been nice to use that space for a seat outside in the morning sunshine as the kitchen is perfectly placed through the front door. Locals lovely. Lots of pubs and shops. Great places to explore in the area.»

«Swallow Cottage is in a great location for exploring Cumbria and Northumberland. We had a lovely stay in a comfortable and very clean cottage. The owner was fabulous when we had a small issue and responded straight away. We'd definitely stay here again»
