These two beautiful homes have 6 bedrooms spaced out across big open floor plans that match the expanse of the surrounding Mojave Desert.
The main living spaces are designed to be cleared out and repurposed for workshops, retreats, meditations and creative projects.
The bedrooms and living spaces are filled with windows that let natural light and beauty pour in during bright sunny days. At night a million stars fill the sky and paint the milky way like a water color against the great dark expanse.
The main house has a kitchen that is properly outfitted for cooking and feasting. The giant dining table, built from a retired bowling lane, easily sits 16. A gas range is accompanied by quality knives, pots, pans, crock pot, blender and all the right tools to cook and share big family style meals.
A grand piano holds court in the living room alongside a sound system with built in speakers and a curated collection of new and classic vinyl. An oversized bath tub sits perched on a cedar pedestal in the master bedroom looking out across an endless landscape.
The second home boasts two more small bedrooms, another master and a second bathroom with a gorgeous marble shower. Giant windows present unobstructed views of the surrounding mountains from every bed. With french doors opening to patios facing both north and south, the main space becomes a portal to the outside.
Established trees create shade and privacy and an abundance of birds. Covered patios, lots of outside furniture and tables offer places to rest, watch and connect. A stone labyrinth provides ritual for quiet contemplation. Soaking in the hot tub on a cool winter night is the perfect end to every day.
These homes were designed with family, community and gathering in mind. They are beautiful structures in an immense and stunning landscape that we are so happy to share with you.
You have access to the entire fenced 5 acre lot and both homes. There is only 1 neighbor nearby. You have both houses, the hot tub, wifi and kitchen.
You will have the place to yourself. We will send you everything you need digitally to check in, enjoy and check yourself out.
Most of our neighbors are plants and animals. There is one house nearby though it is mostly out of view. We are located 20 minutes from either park entrance. This peaceful oasis rests in a seemingly endless landscape and offers truly incredible views of the mountains and desert.
One of the great things about this house is it’s quiet secluded location. It also means getting here is a bit of a journey. The house is located between the towns of Joshua Tree and Twentynine Palms about 8 miles north of Hwy 62. The last 1.7 miles are dirt but you will not need a 4 wheel drive vehicle.
