Arrive at our property through a spacious private driveway that can accommodate 6 cars! The gentle slope makes winter/snow access easy compared to other homes in Twain Harte.
Get ready to be wowed by our massive 3,200 sqft mountain home with 5 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. We have a separate game room too. This is the “largest vacation home” in Twain Harte on VRBO.
The formal living room boasts premium Ashley couches, a cozy fireplace, and bay windows with stunning views of cedar and pine trees. Perfect for snowy days or cozy summer evenings with friends and family. Our family room is your chill-out zone, featuring a large sectional couch, a 65” smart TV, and a wood stove.
The front yard has a basketball hoop for friendly basketball games with family & friends. Deers & other wildlife also frequent our property.

• Bedroom 1: Two King beds in Master suite
• Bedroom 2: King bed.
• Bedroom 3: King bed
• Bedroom 4: Queen bed. This is a semi-private bedroom with a sliding pocket door on one side & curtains on the other side.
• Bedroom 5: Two Queen beds and Full-sized bunk bed. This bedroom is the kid's paradise.
• Additional Sleeping: 2 large couches and 2 double-sized air mattresses (BYOB - Bring Your Own Bedding).
▶︎ Larger Group (over 16 people)?
All our beds are King or Queen sized - so they are huge! We’re happy to welcome larger groups from time to time — groups over 16 people need pre-approval from our homeowners, HOA, and management. We have hosted groups as large as 26 people (including kids) in the past. If you have more than 16 guests, just send us a quick message before booking. Booking larger groups without approval may lead to cancellation without refund.
For larger groups, there’s a $25/night fee per additional person (plus taxes & VRBO fees). We've kept this fee as affordable as possible. It only helps cover the extra supplies, utilities, insurance, and natural wear that come with hosting bigger groups. Since this is a large and beautiful home, upkeep is significantly high.
The extra guest fee is our way of making it easier for big families and groups to gather, while also helping us recover basic costs and keep the stay budget-friendly for everyone. So, we kindly ask you to be honest about your group size — misrepresenting it could lead to penalties or cancellation without refund, and we truly want your stay to be nothing but wonderful!

Our entrances are secured by 2 outdoor cameras:
• One camera is above the garage door facing the driveway securing our front entrance.
• The 2nd camera is above the back door securing our back entrance.
These cameras protect our guests and our property.

• Respect the windows. No snowball fights!
• At 4,400 ft above sea level, we get a lot of snow. Our skies are perfectly clear for star-gazing.
• Lots of wildlife. Deers visit our yard frequently. Kids enjoy counting them! You may also spot a bear.
• Sleep listening to the winds whistling through the woods.
• Close to Pinecrest Lake, Dodge Ridge Ski Resort, Yosemite, Murphys, Arnold, Sonora, Black Oak Casino, and more!
• Twain Harte can receive a lot of snow within a few minutes. Please check the weather conditions before you arrive. Snow removal at checkin, checkout & during stay is guest responsibility. Snow plowing service is additional cost fulfilled by local snow plowers.

Snow Removal:
Twain Harte can receive a lot of snow within a few minutes. The highways & roads are snow-plowed by the county. We'll provide you with contact details of local snow plowers if there's heavy snow. Snow plowing service is an additional cost and the guests can pay the snow plowers directly. Please check the weather conditions before you arrive.
Hot Water Use
The hot water may temporarily run out if your group is large (18+ people) or you use the jacuzzi in the master bathroom. Please give the water heater a few hours if you experience this.

Devices: Leak Detection & Burglar Alarms
This property is equipped with a leak detection system & a burglar alarm system. Please do not remove the leak sensors from the bathrooms & kitchens. Do not remove or disconnect any burglar alarm sensors from the windows, walls, or doors. These sensors do not record anything except detect a water leak or detect a burglar intrusion.
