Green valley had limited choices available so I booked this hotel. I question that it was a true rating of 8.2 very good customer review. I can’t believe anyone would think this place “very good”, it was certainly not worth the $220 we paid. Should have driven in to Tucson but we were tired. It was almost dark and didn’t notice how shabby it looked out side. Next day noticed all the A/C vents were smashed or broken. The lighting was kind of dim in the lobby as well. (Maybe intentional?) In the room all the lighting was dim and not consistent. Stains on the coverlet of the bed and lampshade. Only 2 thin dingy towels, face cloths and a hand towel. They didn’t smell clean. Soap shampoo and conditioner of the cheapest quality. Glad I had some with me from home. I couldn’t tell if the walls were dirty it just a dirty looking color but it definitely needs a remodel. I didn’t feel comfortable walking in the room without shoes.
It only has one elevator that has an annoying loud buzz when you choose floor. The plastic utensils for breakfast were so cheap they bend in half when I tried to butter an English muffin. Coffee was more like brown water. I couldn’t imagine eating most of what they put out for breakfast. A lot of high sugar processed stuff.
After staying here I felt taken advantage of. This hotel expects people to pay this much money but doesn’t keep a well maintained clean looking and smelling accommodation. It’s as if they spent the very least possible on everything.
