  • Fabulous enebolig med utsikt over golfbanen fra dekk, fem store soverom (sengeplass 11/12), fem bad og en fantastisk stue som inkluderer et biljardbord, sjakk bord, storskjerm for "spillet" all in foran peisen. Vårt hjem er også et flott sted å gå fra med løkker rundt golfbanen inkludert fantastisk utsikt over eng og alle fjellene i Northstar-området. Northstar har alle de aktivitetene du ønsker. Golf, rulleskøyter, sykling, ridning, turgåing, svømming, tennis, rekreasjonssenter med treningsfasiliteter etc. etc. Det er alle her! Om vinteren ... ski med et fullt spekter av utfordringer, langrennsløyper, skøyter, rekreasjonssenter med et bredt spekter av utstyr og fantastiske restauranter å nyte din familie eller spesielt selskap. Du kan ikke finne en bedre resort med flere fasiliteter enn Northstar og bor på hjemmet vårt vil være et stort kompliment til ferien. PLUS! Mens på vår hjemmeside kan du ta shuttle i hele anlegget og gratis pass til rec senter for svømming, trene, dukkert i spa, spillerom, lap pool, tennis etc. etc. Northstar kan ikke slå!

Definitely recommend, the property was clean. The host communicated quickly, there is plenty of space for everyone, three full bathrooms was definitely a bonus also. Close to Tahoe and the community center. The kids enjoyed the pool table and the chessboard. Some of the appliances are a bit dated, but nothing to cause any inconvenience.

Great house to accommodate a big family in Tahoe. Host very responsive, good communication. Needs some things fixed to get to a 5 star rating. The listing access to the rec center and pool wasn’t quite accurate. It costs 10/day/per person, even though the host supplies a membership card for access. That was not mentioned in the listing. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

The property was clean well stocked with supplies. The house accommodated three families pool table was a hit with everybody the views were calming and relaxing.

The place was excellent for big families, kitchen had all what you need for cooking and have great meals. Very clean and spacious, loved that each room had its own bathroom. Highly recommend

Christine is the most amazing of hosts! We stayed over a huge blizzard and were able to work out uncertainty over wild weather and road closures. Being so close to Northstar and having access to the Northstar shuttles was clutch during this crazy snowstorm. The cabin is roomy, so well stocked, and has the BEST warm family cabin vibes! The kids loved the pool table and abundant board games. We were two big families who love to cook and the kitchen had everything we needed (and some cool extras)! All the appliances were workhorses. Will definitely stay here again - absolutely loved our time here!

Check-in was a breeze, the place was spacious. We had 10 adults and 1 baby and there was plenty of room. The place was clean and the beds were pretty comfortable. I was inpressed with the kitchen. It well stocked with seasonings and oil. It had all the pots, pans and cooking utensils that we needed. They also had a bunch of games for us which was great. If we come and visit Truckee again, I would definetly book here again!

Stay was wonderful! A lot bigger than expected with plenty of room for the whole family. Having five bathrooms was great especially when coming back from the lake and not having to wait hours for your turn to shower. Also, two of them did have carpet so that was a little different but, wasn’t an issue. The pool table, chess board, dart board, and board games kept the kids entertained all weekend. We enjoyed relaxing out on the back deck during the day and cozying up by the fireplace at night. Overall, great stay and would definitely recommended!

Wonderful family vacation

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The pool table was a huge hit with both kids and adults, as was the large chess table. There was a huge closet filled with a large selection of board games, and the ski shuttle picked up from just the end of the driveway, making getting to Northstar for our ski vacation super-easy. The house could use a few more large pots (to help with meal preparations for a large group). The dishwasher functioned well, but needs to be bolted into the cabinet. These are minor issues that can be easily fixed. Would be happy to visit again!

Even Non-skiers Can Enjoy this House

We were three generations of family, ages 19-82. We did not come to ski. The great room was perfect with the pool table and plenty of space for table games and tv watching. We did not use the Village or recreation facilities as they were quite far. Cars were lined up in the driveway making going in and out difficult. Some of our group have allergies and were bothered by the dog/cat hair on sofas and beds.

This home wasn’t what we were expecting. It felt as if someone lived there and vacated for the weekend. Although it appeared to be clean, it felt cluttered. There was food in the freezer - so much that we didn’t have a lot of space to add much more. There were cleaning products and the vacuum left out when we arrived including a glass of water on the window sill and other items left on the counters. It felt very strange. The lighting upstairs was dim. In fact, the main kitchen light was out and left us with poor light for cooking. We sent a message about this and got an apology 3 hours later but nothing about resolving the issue. The house is very outdated. Not that this is a problem - we wanted a home with a cabin feel, but it just added to the long list of issues we found. It was advertised as a home of almost 5,000 square feet, but it is not! Zillow has it listed for 2,762 square feet. It was advertised as having video games but there were none. The garage was unavailable for use, and the passes to Northstar were not free as advertised. On top of this, there was only one working smoke detector in the home. Things we did like: the bear decor, pool table, tons of games and seating for a large group. Plenty of rooms for everyone. The location was lovely but no place for kids to play. With a few modifications this place would be great! Fresh paint, better lighting, ceiling fans and some better frying pans. Cozy home close to Northstar

We went up to Northstar with friends for a ski weekend and definitely enjoyed staying at this home. It was spacious enough for our group of 9 and all we needed for a comfortable stay. Check-in was straightforward (though we did need to proactively reach out for check-in instructions as there seemed to be a VRBO snafu with our contact details not being shared with the host) and there was enough space in the driveway for our cars (no space in the garage as it's being used for storage). Rooms and bathrooms were OK.There were lots of nice small things that our group appreciated too. There are tons of board games in the main walk-in closet. The pool table and giant chess set in the living room were awesome. We even used their telescope to look at the stars on a clear night. The kitchen at first seems dated, but all the appliances were completely functional. There are sufficient condiments in the fridge as well as spices in the cabinets. Dishes, pots, pans and utensils were all there as well, it's definitely one of the better stocked kitchens we've experienced. Getting around the resort was straightforward with the Northstar Village Transit app. Take note that their service typically only starts at 7:30am, and ends completely at 6pm. The Rec Center was a nice amenity - we enjoyed using the pool (heated), jacuzzi/hot tubs (there are 3 that can fit lots of people, like 25-50 at a time) and sauna. Also note that there is a $10 entrance fee/person (and $2 towel rental).

Tahoe Trip

Had an amazing time catching up with our close friends and to be able to share the beauty of Lake Tahoe, Truckee area. Would stay here again since it had everything we needed to enjoy relaxing and celebrating

Family ski trip

Property was in a great location and perfect for a large family to stay. Easy access to the shuttle and close enough to drive if you chose to do. Chris was so easy to work with and VERY responsive. We would definitely rent Chris's place again.

Excellent property for multi-generational family

Easy checkin; clean and extremely well-equipped; responsive owner. Check out was equally easy, and I appreciated not having to strip beds, place towels in wash, broom clean, etc., as I have with other VRBO rentals (leaving me wondering what the “cleaning fee” was for). Only issue was with the water heater, which was “off” on arrival and needed to have the pilot relit. No big deal if one has done that before, but the water heater and controls were not accurately described in the posted instructions which was confusing. Would certainly rent again, especially now that I have figured out how things work.

Great Stay

This large house was comfortable for our family of 12; 6 adults, 6 kids. It was one of the best stocked homes we have stayed in. Pool table and chess table were a hit. Sofa was really nice! Backyard was great for sledding. Shuttle service was super. Because my wife cooks all the dinners, the only minor complaint would be that the stove needs to be updated. But we would gladly rent this lovely home again!! Thank You Christine!

Great family home

This home was great for our 3 families. More than enough sleeping accommodations. Also an added feature having the shuttle pick up to the Village! Would highly recommend this home for families!
