As you step inside this 2 story home, you'll be greeted by a cozy and comfortable living space adorned with one of a kind artwork and décor from the Russian history professor and his wife who studied English literature at U.C. Berkeley and were frequent travelers of Europe and once inhabited this home. The main level includes the open dining, living room and kitchen which makes for easy gathering and entertaining. The fully equipped kitchen has a gas range, toaster oven, microwave and all the gadgets needed to prepare great meals with ease. Enjoy your culinary creations at the dining table, while the ocean breeze drifts in through the open windows. The dining table comfortably seats 6. Alternatively, you can savor your meals al fresco, which offers uninterrupted views of the ocean and surrounding coastline. The living room has a leather sectional sofa and t.v. There is a den located just off the living room. This space is set up with a small sofa and provides a quiet space to retreat, read a book or take a nap. The property boasts 3 comfortable bedrooms, each with new memory foam queen bed to ensure a peaceful night's sleep. There is one bedroom and bathroom on the main level. This bedroom has a Queen bed and views of the evergreen forest. The bathroom has a stall shower. Upstairs is carpeted throughout and offers 2 more bedrooms both with Queen beds. The West facing bedroom has sweeping ocean views where guests can enjoy waking to the sounds of the sea and the East facing bedroom has views of Redwood trees. There is a 2nd bathroom upstairs that has a bathtub, no shower.
Walk across the breezeway and step inside the cabin that was the original structure built in the 1950's as a retreat for music professors at what is now Cal Poly Humboldt (photos coming soon!).
