Charming house w/ view, 5 min walk from the sea

A few minutes walk from the lively seaside resort of Marina Serra, this small, enchanting holiday home is located in the middle of a private garden with Mediterranean vegetation and fantastic views of the sea and the cliffs.

At Marina Serra you can swim and refresh yourself in the crystal clear waters of the famous "natural swimming pools" carved into the rock, then relax on your terrace, sip a drink and listen to the cicadas while the sea below shimmers in all shades of blue.

The house was recently renovated and has two bedrooms, each with a double bed, two bathrooms with shower and a kitchen-living room opening onto the covered terrace with sea views.

The bedrooms are connected; the back bedroom can only be reached through the front one, i.e. the house may not be ideal for two couples, but is very suitable for a couple or a family with child(ren). The kitchen is equipped with an induction cooker, refrigerator with freezer compartment and dishwasher. There is a coffee machine as well as dishes, plates, pots, etc. so you can cook.

The house has air conditioning and a washing machine as well as free WiFi.

In the garden you will find several seating areas, including benches with cushions, a grill, an outdoor shower and fruit trees. Some cats come by regularly, and sometimes even a fox.

You can park your car along the small country road approximately 100 m from the house; the house can be reached from there via a practically flat footpath. The hillside location in the countryside, away from traffic, ensures a pleasant calm even in high season, when Marina Serra attracts a lot of people, but you can relax away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the view.

In Marina Serra within walking distance of the house you will find, in addition to several swimming options, a few places for drinks or food, especially in the summer season. Otherwise, in the small town of Tricase, 4 km away, there is everything you need for your daily needs: several supermarkets and restaurants, a weekly market, a pharmacy, ATMs, etc. Tricase also has a train station, from where if you have time you can even travel comfortably to Lecce on the old regional train.





Sheets, duvets and towels are not included. If you don't want to bring them with you from home, regardless of the length of your stay, you can rent them for €26 per person.

Final cleaning is not included and costs €120, unless you clean yourselves before departure.

Pets are NOT allowed in this property.

We will ask you to pay a security deposit of €400 before arrival. The security deposit will be refunded within 7 days after departure, if there is no damage.

By booking this accommodation, you accept that:

We are obliged by law to verify the identity of all our guests. We will therefore ask you to upload copies of your IDs on our (secure) website to verify your identity before handing out the key code for the accommodation. Your personal data is treated in full compliance with EU data protection laws.

Also, we are obliged to sign a rental agreement with our guests (one person per group). This will be done digitally and requires just a few seconds on your side. You can find a template of the rental agreement on our website.

Parties, gatherings, events or loud music are not allowed at this property unless explicitly authorised beforehand by us in writing.

In case the local municipality charges a tourist tax, we will ask you to pay this separately to us and we will transfer it to the local authorities as required by law.

Please note that, like for all houses in Italy, the power allowance of the house is limited and you might not be able to always use all electric appliances simultaneously. No need to worry: most guests don't even notice this limitation.
