"This is a beautiful house with the most amazing view. If you are looking for somewhere to enjoy nature in the peace and quiet, this is it. House was perfect for my husband and I enjoying our anniversary. The beautiful kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals and the picture window at the dining table overlooks the valley. The Adirondack glider chairs were the perfect spot to enjoy the sunrise and to see the fog that disguised the town below. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The house sits so high up you look down to see hawks fly by. We recommend going to Cloudland Canyon to see Cherokee and Hemlock Falls (so worth the 900 steps)." - Michelle, Jun 2025
"We stayed at this lovely house so we could visit Cloudland Canyon State Park. This home was very comfortable and really well appointed. It had all the dishes and cookware you could need; a few spices which was nice; good coffee and even some creamers for the coffee. The king bed was comfortable and the towels were really nice. In a nice neighborhood just minutes from town but high enough up the mountainside it is peaceful. Views were wonderful! "First the view, I mean wow! You can see it from the living room and the giant picture window in the kitchen the mountains are simply breathtaking. This must be the cleanest vacation rental we have ever been in. There are little touches everywhere, like blankets in the living room and even a little snack for when you arrive! The spacious living room is equipped with fireplace and large screen TV and, along with the kitchen, boasts direct mountain views and access to an expansive deck overlooking neighboring mountains and the surrounding scenic landscape. Deck includes a gas grill and ample seating for dining or relaxing and enjoying the stars. Immediately off the deck is a grassy area with fire pit and additional seating. The primary bedroom features a comfortable king-sized bed, while the spacious guest room offers two queen-sized beds. Both bedrooms are equipped with large-screen TVs and share a modern bathroom, complete with a tub/shower combo, double sinks, and a lighted mirror.
