«We have just returned from a couple of nights at Brewers Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cottage is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and bigger than it seems from the photos. Foolow is convenient access to some lovely areas and walks in the Peak District, and just a 10-15 minute walk from the cottage is the local pub that does fabulous food and has very friendly staff. «This was our second stay at Butterfield Cottage - two wonderful weeks at this cosy, comfortable, immaculate cottage. «From the moment we arrived we settled in immediately. Everything we needed was there.Quiet ,spacious and comfortable rooms for 4 adults and two children. Outdoor space was lovely to sit out when the weather was good, great views too.and private parking for cars. So handy for Chester,easy park and ride, the zoo Liverpool,West Kirby, Cheshire Oaks retail.Loved the White Lion with good food ,plenty seating in and out. Definitely recommend the beautiful Old Stables.»

«Great little cottage in a lovely area, minutes from the beach. Great communication. Met all our needs, kitchen well supplied with all we needed. Cosy sofa and bed. Shame we couldn't use the courtyard but were told by a lady there that it was a private courtyard that she owned. She was quite rude. Did not put us off our holiday though. «Our family of 5 loved staying at this property in tge beautiful Hebden Bridge. Fabulous, quirky location on the side of a very, very steep cobbled road. We were fortunate to find parking at the bottom of the hill not far from the house. It is a bit of an effort lugging suitcases up the hill but it is so worth it!Not the place for those with mobility issues though.House was lovely and had everything we needed and only a few minutes walk into town.Highly recommend!»

In the couple of days we were there we visited Bakewell, Hathersage and walked Castleton and Mam Tor. We love the area and would certainly stay here again. »

«An excellent property, very homely, cosy and welcoming. Would definitely return. Found laundry basket, spare mattress covers and oven gloves in main bedroom. Not a great problem at all, but think these items were inadvertently left at the changeover clean. But this is not an important criticism - the property was wonderful.»
